Job Title: Programme Assistant

Location: Benin City, Edo (Remote)

Job Description

  • GAF is seeking a dedicated Programme Assistant, starting in September, to support the implementation of our projects in Benin City, Edo State.
  • This full-time role involves assisting with project coordination, execution, and monitoring to ensure alignment with our mission and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing project activities and events.
  • Coordinate logistics for workshops, training sessions, and outreach programs.
  • Support data collection, entry, and analysis for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Conduct field visits to monitor progress and gather participant feedback.
  • Assist in preparing promotional materials and social media content.
  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos for documentation and promotion.
  • Write detailed reports on project activities, progress, and outcomes.
  • Maintain communication with beneficiaries, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing documentation.
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • OND or equivalent in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in project implementation or community development preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Basic videography and photography skills with the ability to produce high-quality content preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the local community in Benin City is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Bini and English.
