Job Title: Program Manager, Executive Education

Locations: Abuja and Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Training Executive to join our team.
  • The ideal  candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a wide range of  training programs, including short courses, certifications, and workshops. Note that this role  requires extensive travel to various training locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive training programs.
  • Organize and oversee workshops, short courses, and certification programs.
  • Design and create engaging training materials, curriculum and calendar.
  • Collaborate with external training providers, institutions, and professional bodies.
  • Provide support and guidance to participants throughout their training journey.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the academic sector and incorporate relevant updates into training programs.
  • Travel to various locations to conduct and support training programs as required
  • Deliver training sessions in both in-person and virtual formats.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary  adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of B.Sc in Agriculture, Agric Economics, Agric Education, Agribusiness or any other related field
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in training preferably in the executive  academic sector.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Competency in Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint including virtual training platforms
  • Willingness to travel extensively for training programs.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
