Program Manager at DKT International


DKT International is a social marketing organization whose core mission is the provision of safe and affordable options for family planning, reproductive health, and HIV prevention. DKT International is the largest private provider of contraceptive and reproductive health products and services in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 



Job Title: Program Manager
Location: Lagos

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Donor Relationship:

  • Identify strategic areas for funding and lead proposal development/ ownership
  • Manage a portfolio of existing and new donors
  • Maintain consistent communication with donors to ensure timely acknowledgements / updates
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, annual and other periodic reports.
  • Develop concept notes and proposals from conception to submission and approval
  • Capture and translate current activities in supply chain, sales/distribution, marketing, and media communication to potential donors

Program Management:

  • Ensure implementation of program strategies
  • Coordinate departmental teams in achieving program targets
  • Strongly articulate the activities of DKT Nigeria to make persuasive presentations to external stakeholders
  • Research funding opportunities and leverage CSR and/or workplace giving objectives
  • Provide progress reports on project activities to country leadership
  • Attend meetings and represent DKT to external stakeholders
  • Provide oversight to programs and support staff
  • Provide guidance and expert advice on implementation of new or emerging service delivery initiatives/services, including youth-friendly services
  • Special projects as assigned

Monitoring & Evaluation:

  • Strengthen monitoring and evaluation procedures
  • Coordinate current organization activities to be captured / presented by the M & E team
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results in sales, marketing and programs
  • Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the DKT operations

Qualification / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field
  • Proven experience proposal writing and successful grants
  • Strong network and networking skills
  • Experience in family planning, sexual and reproductive health
  • Experience in the planning and execution of largescale projects, including activities planning
  • Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) skills
  • 6 years+ experience in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with International private donors
  • Strong and polished interpersonal & presentation skills; written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a concise, accessible, and engaging way
