Our oils are used as healthy cooking medium. Soybean meal and palm kernel de-oiled cake are used in premier poultry / animal feed.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Kano

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, food safety, and team leadership.
  • You will ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the plant to ensure production targets are met.
  • Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure that health and safety standards are followed by all staff.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including quality control, weighbridge and procurement, to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Monitor and maintain the efficiency of production processes, making adjustments to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company quality control protocols.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve any technical issues.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with Buhler machines is an added advantage
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a supervisory role within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP.
