Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Magodo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Plan, organize, and oversee the entire production process from design concept to final garment delivery.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop production plans and schedules based on customer orders and design specifications.
• Train and supervise production staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure a productive and motivated team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as design, logistics, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to garment production.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, trims, and other production components.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies, and initiate procurement when necessary.
• Manage and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and machinery, to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets.
• Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and resolve any issues or defects.
• Implement and enforce production procedures and protocols to ensure consistent quality and production output.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 - 6 years work experience.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges and ensure smooth operations.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as production management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the fashion industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment production processes, including cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality control.
• Familiarity with fabric types, trims, and production materials.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 / month.
