Job Title: Procurement / Contract Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
Procurement and Vendor Management:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Manage entire strategic sourcing process for direct and indirect spend including: demand management, spend analysis, market research, supplier identification, RFP launch, supplier / vendor
  • negotiations, contract award, and performance / KPI tracking.

Contract Lifecycle and Risk Management:

  • Showcase deep expertise in all ongoing contractual works and lead efforts in responding to contractual letters, disputes, claims, etc.,
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including monitoring performance, enforcing contract terms and conditions, and resolving disputes
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with ongoing and prospective projects.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage client relationship with respect to contract management and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal / external stakeholders (e.g., legal, admin, finance, engineering, planning, etc.,).

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze procurement process and savings achieved and identify areas of improvement
  • Analyze contract lifecycle management process and identify areas of improvement
  • Develop and implement process improvements to streamline contract lifecycle management process.
  • Develop and implement process improvements (e.g., Procure-to-pay, source-to-contract) to streamline procurement process

Qualifications

  • Required qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Engineering
  • Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or Nigerian Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management (NIPSM) certification preferred;
  • 8+ years of experience working with IOCs, EPCs, and / or construction firms
  • Deep knowledge of oil & gas industry in Nigeria.
  • Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) or Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) registration an advantage.

Salary
N600,000 Gross Monthly.
