Job Title: Process Supervisor - Choco, GBC, Soya & Porridge

Location: Snacks Plant Agbara, Ogun
Job type: Full time

Pupose of the Job

  • To supervise the activities of line operators and monitor the operation of all production machines to ensure the production of quality products in line with the organization’s goals and objectives.

The Job

  • Monitor the operations of critical machines such as the boilers, silo, raw materials weighing, material mixing, drum dryer, packaging to ensure that quality production is maintained in line with the organizations objectives.
  • Receive instruction from the plant manager on the timeline for the execution of preventative maintenance and ensure that the lines are made available.
  • Monitor the operation of the raw material feeding, processing and packaging in order to ensure smooth and continuous flow of production.
  • Implement the production plan as planned in the production schedule.
  • Provide information on line stoppages, machine breakdown and faults prior to Planned preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain safe work environment by education and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment’s and resources maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Follow up on all outstanding process issues on previous shifts to ensure prompt resolution especially as regards to downtimes and machine breakdowns.
  • Liaise with maintenance to identify the root cause for breakdown and ensure prompt resolution of all machine breakdown cases.
  • Supervise the activities of Operators to ensure targets are achieved
  • Communicate with Quality Control personnel on issues relating to product quality.

Qualifications

  • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
  • NABTEB/C&G/WAEC.
  • OND in Engineering or Science related discipline.

Experience:

  • 2 years in a related industry.
  • Professional knowledge of safety protocol.
