Job Title: Personal Assistant (Male)
Location: Ojodu Berger, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are urgently recruiting qualified candidates for a private individual. Please note that this role is in a home environment, not an office setting.

Job Description

  • To provide all administrative and secretarial support to the line manager and other people within the household on a one-to-one basis.

Duties
Personal Cleanliness:

  • Ensure your own personal hygiene and cleanliness is of the highest standard.

Administrative:
For Household: Support Chapel Administrator to carry out all administrative functions as required:

  • Maintain all office equipment such as printer, ipads, laptops, computers, etc.
  • Running household errands.
  • Grocery shopping.
  • Responsible for maintaining diaries & calendar.
  • Household & organizational projects - maintaining a plan or schedule for the household’s personal and professional needs.
  • Filing, emailing, bookkeeping when required.
  • Responsible for sending out all communication either by phone call, text message or emails as directed.
  • Scheduling household maintenance.

For Chapel: Support the Chapel Administrator to carry out all administrative functions as required:

  • Managing line manager’s diaries and organizing meetings and appointments.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, perform research for meetings and take minutes.
  • Responsible for sending out all communication either by phone call, text message or emails as directed.
  • Maintaining a plan or schedule for the Chapel’s professional needs.
  • Managing databases and filing systems.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients.
  • Collating and filing expenses.
  • Conducting research on behalf of the manager.
  • Prepare & deliver monthly reports.
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodation.
  • Organizing/Coordinating events and conferences.
  • Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
  • Typing, compiling, and preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.

Extra-curricular Activities:

  • Must be able to contact/liaise with all external parties to book appointments, visits, checkups, etc.

Domestic Appliances:

  • Observe, monitor, and report any maintenance issues on office equipment for repairs.
  • Notify line manager on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
  • Ensure the security of the office equipment is always maintained to provide a safe working environment.

Domestic Support (As at when required):

  • Must be able to join the cook, housekeeper and other employees when required to engage in kitchen support/occasional meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, etc.
  • Scheduling house maintenance by liaising with relevant departments at the office.
