Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate calculations of wages, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized payroll records.
  • Assist with audits, financial reporting, and preparation of payroll-related documents (P45, P60, etc.).
  • Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll processing.
  • Prepare and distribute pay slips in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and statutory requirements such as PAYE, NHF, NSITF, and pension contributions.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in payroll management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
