Job Overview
- As the Operations Manager at Earnipay, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s daily business operations.
- This role focuses on treasury management, settlement, reconciliation, project management, revenue assurance, financial and strategic planning, and managing relationships with banks and vendors.
- Additionally, you will lead and develop the Customer Success and Finance Operations teams, ensuring operational efficiency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Settlement and Reconciliation:
- Oversee settlement processes to ensure timely and accurate financial executions.
- Lead reconciliation efforts to maintain financial accuracy and integrity across all operations.
Treasury Management:
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow, liquidity, and overall financial risk.
- Optimize treasury operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective utilization of funds.
Project and Process Management:
- Lead strategic projects focused on improving operations and enhancing processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive projects from planning to successful completion.
Bank and Vendor Relationship Management:
- Manage relationships with partner banks and key vendors, ensuring smooth operations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise the Customer Success and Finance Operations teams, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
- Mentor team members, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and teamwork.
Revenue Assurance:
- Implement safeguards and controls to ensure the security of revenue streams.
- Identify risks and develop strategies to maximize revenue and optimize opportunities.
Financial and Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategy development.
- Analyze financial data to generate actionable insights for business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience in fintech, banking, or related industries, with a focus on treasury management, settlement, and/or reconciliation.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage external partnerships with banks and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on managing and developing teams.
- Analytical mindset, with proficiency in financial analysis and planning.
- Strong track record in project management and strategic planning.
