Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor / Trainer Assessor

Location: Bonny Island, Rivers

Key Job Responsibilities
Provide mentoring and on the job training to young Nigerian Technicians with special emphasis in the area below:

  • Conduct task related with maintenance and operations team
  • Develop and execute preventive mechanical maintenance tasks
  • Ensure flawless startup and commissioning of mechanical systems effective following with repairs and replacement
  • Conduct functional tests on mechanical equipment as a requirements for facility changes, upgrade and modifications
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental requirements as specified for executing required instrument maintenance or repairs
  • Comply with classification and priotization systems for completion of work order as determined within the maintenance management system
  • Assist planning plus operations staff to identify skills and resources needed to complete planning are reactive work activities
  • Comply with every approved operations and maintenance procedure
  • Perform with maintenance planners as schedule workload.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • A recognized technical certification up to HND level in Mechanical Engineering
  • 15 years working experience, a minimum of 7 years should be working experience on oil field, petrochemical, or oil and gas handling projects including working in design and engineering construction of such systems, including planning, supervision, training / competence development for junior engineers
  • Appropriate certification IVQ, NVQ or C&G qualification as a certified assessor or trainer in technical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in working in an NLNG or GTL plant in the most recent past
  • Good supervisory qualities and experience, including good communication skills
  • Familiar with codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to the operations maintenance, upgrades and engineering design of process instrumentation

 

 

Job Title: Coded Welder

Location: Bonny Island, Rivers

Key Job Responsibilities
Provide mentoring and on-the-job training to young Nigerian technicians with special emphasis in the areas below:

  • Conduct welding tasks using the following methods such as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) or TIG, Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) or MIG, Stick Welding or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or MMA, and Fusion Welding.
  • Ensure flawless startup and commissioning of welded components for tightness, cleanness and zero leaks following repair or replacement.
  • Conduct functional checks on welded elements as part of flawless Project Delivery (FPD) as a requirement for facility changes, upgrades and modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environment requirements as specified for executing welding activities.
  • Comply with classification and prioritization system for completion of work order as determined within the maintenance management system.
  • Assist planning plus operations staff to identify skills and resource needed to complete planning and reactive work activities.
  • Comply with every approved operation and maintenance procedure.
  • Perforce with maintenance planners as schedule workload.
  • Comply with all instructions for job tasks completion.

Job Profile
Minimum Education & Experience:

  • A recognized technical certification up to Higher National Diploma level relevant to welding.
  • Attained BSN EN from UK or ASME IX standard code from the US or other comparable codes recognized under ISO. Must also be conversant with the AWS  and API standards and other comparable standards.
  • Appropriate certification IVQ, NVQ or C&G qualification as a certified assessor or trainer in technical skills.
  • 15 years working experience in process systems instrumentation and control, a minimum of 5 years should be working experience on oil field, petrochemical, or oil and gas handling projects, including working in design and engineering construction of such systems, including planning, supervision, training / competence development for junior engineers.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in an NLNG or GTL plant in the most recent past.
  • Good supervisory qualities and experience, including good communication skills.

Job Title: Fabrication Engineer

Location: Bonny Island, Rivers

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide mentoring and on-the-job training to young Nigerian technicians with special emphasis in the areas below.
  • Conduct tasks related with fabrication, welding, turning, milling and other services for the purpose of fabricating parts and fixtures used in the plant.
  • Specify appropriate structural materials and components in order to enhance production and remove inefficiencies.
  • Able to interpret appropriate computer aided design (CAD) software to draft models, design stress tests and ensure system integrity of fabricated systems.
  • Present performance enhancements, potential production schedules and costing for changes to plant through the management of change process.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance tasks
  • Ensure flawless startup and commissioning of equipment for which changes have been made following from with repair and replacement.
  • Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environment requirements as specified for executing required instrument maintenance or repairs

Provide mentoring and on-the-job training to young Nigerian technicians with special emphasis in the areas below:

  • Conduct task related with maintenance and operations team.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance tasks,
  • Conduct power systems evaluation and troubleshooting for HVAC systems as regards site offices, plant, machine rooms, analyse house, equipment cabins etc may be required
  • Ensure flawless startup and commissioning of HVAC systems effective following repair and replacement.
  • Conduct functional tests on instrumentation as a requirement for facility changes, upgrades and modifications.
  • Conduct heating and cooling systems performance evaluation to identity opportunities for improve heating and cooling of appropriate systems
  • Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environment requirements as specified for executing required instrument maintenance or repairs,
  • Comply with classification and prioritization system for completion of work order as determined within the maintenance management system.
  • Assist planning plus operation staff to identify skills and resource needed to complete planning and reactive work activities.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • 15 years of experience in design of offshore oil and gas production facilities including 7 years experience in engineering design of oil facilities, petrochemical or Oil and gas handling projects, and training/competence development for junior engineers
  • Appropriate certification IVQ, NVQ or C&G qualification as a certified assessor or trainer in technical skills.

 

 

Job Title: Maintenance Support Engineer / Trainer Assessor

Location: Bonny Island, Port Harcourt - Rivers

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide mentoring and on-the-job training to young Nigerian technicians with special emphasis in the maintenance workshops and additional plant support services for turnaround and maintenance intervention activities
  • Conduct tasks related with maintenance and operations team
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance tasks
  • Carry out critical maintenance support activities within the maintenance workshop and the LNG plant as may be required
  • Provide support for the conduct of performance optimization and enhancement opportunities within the maintenance services team
  • Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environment requirements as specified for executing required instrument maintenance or repairs
  • Comply with classification and prioritization system. Assist planning plus operations staff to identify skills and resource needed to complete planning and reactive work activities

  • Conduct instrument performance evaluation to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities within the process system.

  • Considerable dedicated specialist instrumentation control experience on IPF, SIS, Custody Transfer preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in an NLNG or GTL plant in the most recent past.
  • Good supervisory qualities and experience, including good communication skills.
  • Familiar with codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to the operations, maintenance, upgrades and engineering design of process instrumentation.
