Job Title: Production Operations Technician Location: Offshore Delta State Reporting Line: Production Supervisor/OIM Job Category: Full Time/Rotational
Job Summary
  • Production of Crude Oil from Wellheads, through Process Plant and into Storage Tanks.
  • Crude Oil Process Plant Monitoring, Instrumentation & Control to achieve efficient Oil/Water/Gas Separations and Optimum Production of the Relative Rates of Oil, Water & Gas taking into cognizant, the Safety of Personnel & Equipment as priority.
Job Responsibilities
  • Follow Permit to Work (PTW) System and ensure that Work Procedures are adhered to.
  • Monitor and control process plant with minimum down time.
  • Prior to start-up of any plant or equipment, inspect and confirm suitability to return to normal service,
  • Operate, monitor and troubleshoot well control systems.
  • Identify deviations from standard operating conditions and bringing deviations or malfunctions to the attention of the Production Supervisor.
  • Process Plant Monitoring and Control to ensure that produced oil, water & gas are within government regulatory approved standards.
  • Monitoring of ancillary production support utilities and power generating equipment to ensure their healthy functionality.

Job Title: Offshore Installation Manager Location: Offshore Delta State Reporting Line: Production Operations Manager Job Category: Full Time/Rotational
Job Summary
  • The position is accountable for production operations, FPSO and pipeline facilities maintenance to ensure operational reliability and zero down time. Position is accountable for process and operations safety performance and logistics support for operations.
  • Supervise, monitor and control of oil and gas production activities and utility systems to ensure that production targets are achieved.
  • The position is the subject matter expert on marine matters and incumbent is expected to combine marine operational experience with production operations
Job Responsibilities
  • OIM will ensure a safe, cost effective, environmentally compliant and effective operational performance and integrity of the installation, its facilities and personnel in order to deliver hydrocarbon exports in accordance with statutory and company standards and requirements.
  • Key contact for offshore installation & accountable for all activities on the asset.
  • Primary point of contact and liaison with offshore Well Intervention, SIMOPS and Drilling contractors.
  • OIM is responsible for dealing with emergencies as the most senior manager role offshore.
  • Manage day to day well production operations to produce crude oil and gas at the required levels to meet the Company’s production targets.
  • Manage maintenance, well head and process equipment and coordinate the regular maintenance and repair of facilities & wells.
  • Ensure that facilities safety barriers are maintained and that safety notices are prominently displayed in all work areas.
  • Coordinate with Asset management team to use reservoir data to optimize production.
  • Conduct safety drills and musters weekly and ensure all installation personnel are familiar with and understand their relevant safety equipment and procedures and conduct a lesson learnt session after each drill and document same.
  • Be fully conversant with the emergency response and oil spill protocols and coordinate all activities within the field perimeter.
  • Co-ordinate all relevant activities to ensure a safe, efficient and effective shutdown or start-up of the installation, systems, &/or equipment.
  • Investigate and determine the cause(s) of unplanned shutdowns and establish the possibility and means of preventing recurrence.
  • Review plans & schedules and authorize and approve the work being executed on the installation and within the complex and remote wellhead platforms limits.
  • Ensure that daily report covering HSE, field, production and maintenance activities are circulated to the head office.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering degree in a Core Engineering discipline (Petroleum or Production). A Master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage
  • Marine operations certification for OIM is required.
  • 10 years oil field operations experience, preferably in Well Head operation or Process Plants operation.

Job Summary
  • Oversee and coordinate all operational support services to the field operations, including loading and offloading of equipment on-board vessels and or drilling rig, from the base to offshore locations, Interface with Marine and Production personnel with Contractor’s operations, in order to ensure safe and reliable operations at all times.
  • Manage inventories, marine vessels, support infrastructures and personnel at the Warri Base. Ensure good industrial relations with external work force.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage Contract execution to ensure that offshore facilities requirements are met.

Job Title: Operations Manager Location: Warri / Field Location Reporting Line: MD Job Category: Full Time/Contract
Job Summary
  • Manage field operational activities, including facilities and equipment maintenance, production operations and associated logistics support. Manage the day-to-day operations within the onshore and offshore environment and ensure the company’s oil production targets are achieved. Responsible for leading Production Operations and executing well intervention enhancement opportunities and programs in alignment with reservoir management and petroleum engineering expectations and practices, putting safe operations and operational reliability at the forefront and ensuring activities are delivered in cost efficient manner, consistent with functional company processes, policies, procedures and local regulations.
  • Primary place of assignment shall be at the Company’s offshore location and the Warn Base Office where the maintenance team is located. May be asked to report for Strategy and Business Planning meetings in the Lagos office and or hold technical meetings with the subsurface and reservoir engineering team.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Location: Offshore, Delta State Reporting Line: Production Operations Manager Job Category: Full Time/Rotational
Job Summary
  • Accountable for operations, maintenance and Repair of Rotating and Static equipment to achieve greater than 95% Operability for the FPSO while ensuring 100% uptime for the Generators and support production equipment on the FPSO to attain a process plant uptime above 97%.
  • Perform all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic component repair or replacement of parts as specified by the OEM and as per API, ISO, etc.
  • Ensure the Mechanical maintenance tasks are executed efficiently, liaising with other Discipline Supervisors to minimize equipment down time.
  • Perform planned and breakdown maintenance on generators, air compressors, and other equipment.
Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure 100% uptime of the Generators and support production equipment on the FPSO to attain a process plant uptime above 99.5%.
  • Ensure 100% uptime of the Generators on the FPSO to keep the accommodation powered up at all times.
  • Ensure the Mechanical maintenance task is executed efficiently, liaising with other Discipline Supervisors to minimize equipment down time.
  • Perform planned and breakdown maintenance on generators, air compressors, and other equipment.
  • Be able to Perform 10k, 20k, 30k and 40k maintenance overhaul on generators and other rotating equipment.
  • Be responsible for the requisition of all spares and maintaining an efficient Sparing Philosophy for major critical spares for all rotating & key equipment.
  • Ensure that requested spare are delivered on time and qualities are original as per design specifications.

Job Title: Geologist / Geophysicist Location: Lagos Reporting Line: Exploration and Subsurface Manager Job Category: Full Time/Contract
Job Summary
  • Provide technical geological and/or geophysical support and risk assessment for prospect generation, reserves recovery and/or major capital projects.
Job Responsibilities
  • Seismic Interpretation using any of the specialized geological software; Openworks, Decision space, Petrel, Kingdom or Geographic.
  • Ability to interpret structural and stratigraphic elements and pick Chrono-stratigraphic surfaces and faults accurately.
  • In-depth knowledge of Asset Evaluations and reservoirs studies.
  • Knowledge of seismic acquisition and processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of geological correlation and ability to integrate petrophysical data into the interpretation:
  • Should be able to tie reservoir top and base to seismic and understand hydrocarbon contacts (GOC, OWC and ODT).

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other mechanical systems for maintenance and or repair purposes.
  • Responsible for preventive, routine and non-routine maintenance and for the repair of relevant machineries, pumps and compressors and document non-conformances and put a long term management plan in place.

Job Summary
  • Provide technical geological and/or geophysical support and risk assessment for prospect generation, reserves recovery and/or major capital projects.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide petroleum engineering support for oil field development and depletion planning.
  • Build reservoir models using specialized petroleum engineering software’s like Eclipse, Petroleum experts and similar related software’s.
