Job Title: Night Drilling Supervisor

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities / Duties

  • Plan, manage and supervise rig day-to-day operations at the rigsite and ensure compliance with the drilling program.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with Company Management System Procedures.
  • Prepare and issue operation procedure(s) to all concerned personnel for each stage of operation at the rigsite during all phases of drilling, work over, intervention, well testing, and completions.
  • Prepare daily drilling report using WELLVIEW.
  • Collaborate with different business units (sub-surface and production) in implementing new technology.
  • Evaluate personnel, equipment, services, processes and technology to improve drilling operation performance.
  • Ensure that company HSE procedures are adhered to at every time.
  • Place order for tangibles such as mud, chemicals, cement, etc.Also know how to calculate cement calculation.
  • Coordinate onsite mobilization & demobilization of contractor personnel and equipment while also verifying invoices as per contract terms.
  • Keep record of all required technical data sheets for equipment and materials used in drilling operations.
  • Liaise with logistics, inventory and procurement department to optimize processes in order to prevent rig flat time situations.
  • Carry out drilling engineering analysis while drilling (cementing, torque and drag, hydraulics, hole cleaning, anti-collision management, BHA design, casing design, etc).
  • Participate in DWOP/ CWOP meetings and document operations risk assessment review.
  • Ensure compliance with all, Security, Safety, Regulatory and Environmental requirement.
  • Monitor all drilling parameters and employ problem solving skills in trouble shooting situations that deviate from normal trend.
  • Supervise the function test and pressure test of drilling, well control and completions equipment.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc. Degree
  • Valid Level 4 IWCF
  • At least 6 years experience in a similar role orabove
  • Candidate should have an Engineering background.
