Ginos Ventures Limited - As an Indigenous distributor of medical consumables and devices across Africa, we provide solutions to all problems of procurement, distribution, and supply of all medical consumables. We currently distribute for over 15 multinational healthcare companies and have a working relationship with about 60% of healthcare institutions in Nigeria with 23 Medical Representatives and 10 mini distributors that cover major regions in the country.

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of our projects, designing and implementing M&E activities, assisting Project Managers in preparing reports on project progress and will monitor project activities on a regular basis.
  • The successful job candidate will lead data collection, analysis and reporting, and ensure that data is effectively used for program improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems and frameworks for all programs and projects.
  • Provide timely feedback to program and project teams on M&E findings and ensure that program improvements are made based on data.
  • Ensure project teams are in compliance with projects rules.
  • Ensure that all M&E reports are of high quality and are submitted on time.
  • Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving projects output
  • Monitor the sustainability of projects results
  • Provide feedback to the Project Managers on project strategies and activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to program and project teams on M&E processes and data collection methodologies.
  • Lead the development of data collection tools, data analysis plans, and reporting templates.
  • Setting up key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, success factors, and challenges.
  • Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of projects by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Good time and knowledge management skills
  • Good initiative, time and stress management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing M&E systems and frameworks Experience with data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making.
  • Proven 4 - 5 years of experience in M&E, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
