We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Metallurgical / Material Engineer (Graduate Trainee)

Location: Sabo Wuse, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data from tests experiments to support material development and process improvement.
  • Prepare all required documents and ensure accuracy of all data.
  • Provide technical support to all projects, perform root cause analysis, and assist to reduce defects.
  • Monitor all processes, resolve all issues and coordinate with management and external parties to reduce downtime.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks in handling material equipments.
  • Co-ordinate with team, perform troubleshoot on process according to requirement.
  • Support the process engineer to manage and interpret bench-scale laboratory experiments aimed at understanding the mineral dressing characteristics of ores of rare metals, including rare earths.
  • Work alongside production, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure material specifications align with project goals.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering,Production Engineering, Metallurgical and Material Engineering, other Science, and Engineering related field.
  • Fresh graduate or minimum of 1 year experience in Steel Manufacturing Industry.
  • Living within Abuja, Niger, Kaduna State or close proximity is an added advantage.
  • Must be available to resume immediately.
