Job Description

  • Perform administrative tasks remotely to support healthcare operations, ensuring efficient and organized patient care while gaining practical experience in medical administration.

Detailed Job Functions

  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to voicemails, and manage email correspondence
  • Manage electronic health records (EHRs), update patient demographics, and schedule appointments
  • Provide basic medical information and resources to patients via phone or email
  • Support healthcare teams with administrative tasks and data entry
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Process payments, verify insurance, and handle billing inquiries
  • Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and other documents via email or online portals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage digital calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate virtual meetings
  • Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and other documents via email or online portals.

Communication:

  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and messages either from superiors or clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams via phone or email.

Digital Organization:

  • Maintain organized digital files and folders
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation in EHR systems
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with software or hardware and reach out to supervisors on things not clear.

Patient Services:

  • Register patients, verify insurance, and process payments via phone or online portals
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve concerns via phone or email
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients via phone or email.

Data Management:

  • Accurately enter and update patient data in EHR systems
  • Manage and analyze data reports to improve office efficiency
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
