Job Description

• The Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanicalis responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of liquid filling lines and powder packaging machines. This role ensures that all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations, focusing on the mechanical aspects of these machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on liquid filling lines, powder packaging machines, and ink jet machines.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure product quality.
• Conduct test runs and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired output.
• Conduct regular inspections of liquid filling, powder packaging, and ink jet machines to detect potential issues.
• Ensure that all machines operate within specified parameters and produce high-quality products.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to address any product defects or inconsistencies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on liquid filling and powder packaging machines.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct repairs to minimize downtime.
• Replace defective parts and ensure proper alignment and functioning of machinery.
• Maintain and repair supporting equipment such as compressors, mixers, and conveyors.
• Set up and calibrate liquid filling and powder packaging machines according to production specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.mecha
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Report any significant issues or potential risks to the Maintenance Manager.
• Document machine performance and maintenance activities for future reference.
• Collaborate with the spare parts store to ensure availability and timely replenishment of necessary parts and components.
• Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and manage the ordering process to prevent downtime.
• Work with the spare parts storekeeper to track usage and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and productivity.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to the maintenance and engineering teams.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in liquid filling and powder packaging technology.
