Key Responsibilities
- Receive and release supplies based on received authorizing documentation. Verify quantities and quality (including packing) according to goods receipt document, packing lists, waybills, pre-delivery inspection reports or purchase orders and report discrepancies if any
- Ensure that all stored materials are clearly marked with stock bins with waybill references and quantities per pallet/section & stored in a safe & appropriate manner.
- Ensure easy movement, ventilation, maintenance and systematic arrangement of stock
- Monitor the quantity and quality of the stored supplies and report on irregularities, if any, in relation to storage, receipt or dispatch & security of the warehouse

- In coordination with the supervisor, handle administrative issues related to safety and maintenance of the warehouse. Liaise with the WH management on organizational issues, agreements signatures, etc.

Qualifications

- The Nutrition Supervisor will be required to mainstream the nutritional activities in line with CARE standards to this end, the nutrition supervisor will also provide guidance to LGA partners on policy and methodologies to enhance service delivery at the Host community and camp level.
- The Nutrition Supervisor is required to possess significant experience in inter-agency coordination in management of complex field based operations and emergencies, good knowledge of program management and solid experience in technical field of Nutrition. Proven ability to lead and coordinate the elaboration and implementation of operational plans, assistance operational frameworks, overall operational strategies and standard operating procedures are to be clearly manifested from previous work experience.
- The nutrition Supervisor is expected to have competencies of a skillful leader in guiding and supporting staff, addressing various operational challenges, along with increasing security concerns. Job Summary
- The Assistant Project is responsible for managing a team of Food Livelihood and Nutrition Security (FLNS at a Local Government Area (LGA). This team will work very closely with the community, project participants (beneficiaries), State Authorities, LGA Authorities, national and International NGOs, national partners, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to ensure effective planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of FLNS interventions.

- Establish a filing system for various program activities to ensure easy retrieval of information as and when needed.
- Develop an appropriate project data base of the sector to facilitate processing of required information.

Job Summary

Human Resources:

Key Responsibilities
- S/he will be required to conduct sensitization and MUAC (middle upper arm circumference) screening of Pregnant and lactating women (PLW) and children under 5 years.
- The nutrition screener/register will screen, tally, register and coordinate the screening of children to verify their age at the distribution point, the nutrition screener/register Additionally is required to train the Nutrition volunteers.
- S/he will be tasked to report to the nutrition Assistant on BSFP distribution update.
- The nutrition screener/register will collaborate with other INGOs on nutrition activities and to refer children identified with SAM and provide technical support to the nutrition assistant.
- S/he the will be required to mainstream the nutritional activities in line with CARE/ standards in his or her LGA with regards to Infant and Young Child feeding (IYCF) programs.
- The nutrition screener/register will also provide guidance to LGA partners (IYCF Groups) on policy and methodologies to enhance service delivery at the Host community and camp level.
- The Nutrition Screener/register is required to possess significant experience in inter-agency coordination in management of complex field based operations and emergencies, good knowledge of program management and solid experience in technical field of BSFP.
- The nutrition screener/register is expected to have competencies of a skillful leader in guiding and supporting staff, addressing various operational challenges, along with increasing security concerns. Given the stressful nature of Yobe security situation, which remains fluid and unpredictable and its high interpersonal and communication skills demands, the nutrition Supervisor will need to be able to fit easily into a complex and highly operative team of various cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications & Experience Required Education
- University degree in any of the following disciplines: Nutrition, Public Health or related field,
- At least 2 years experience in nutrition, public health, development, or food aid support
- Experience with survey methodologies, nutrition assessment and relevant data analysis.

Representation, Liaison and Networking:

- Review Travel Expense Reports (TERs) of staff and other project advances before they are posted in the system.
- Assist Logistics Officer to reconcile the sub office Inventories with the asset account
- Ensure timely preparation of month end and other reports
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of First Degree in Business Administration, Finance & Accounting or equivalent experience or a combination of education and work experience
- Familiarity with basic finance or accounting practices will be an added advantage
