Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans to improve brand awareness and acquire new users.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like social media operation, digital and offline promotion, fans and campus groups operation, event management, publicity, copywriting, performance analysis.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience specializing in marketing and branding with a successful track record and portfolio
  • Strong project management, multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
  • Extensive knowledge for efficient channels and touchpoints to customers, including social media, traditional media, webs, blogs, etc
  • Established media, brand partners, fan groups, and campus groups contacts
  • Team management experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Previous music industry experience an advantage, but not compulsory
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
