Job Description

  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in person and via telephone calls and emails to generate new businesses for the organization’s products/services.
  • Gather market and customer information.
  • Analyze the market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization.
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Conduct reviews on personal sales performance with the aim to meet or exceed targets.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Make cold calls to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc in Marketing or Business Administration, or any related field.
  • With at least(4) four to five years in Insurance Industry.
