Job Description
- As a Marketing Analyst at Madison & Park, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our marketing efforts through data-driven insights.
- You will work closely with the marketing team to analyze various marketing campaigns, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Your findings and recommendations will help shape our marketing strategies and drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Collect and analyze marketing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance metrics.
- Utilize statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats in the industry.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive intelligence.
- Provide insights on market segmentation and customer behavior.
Campaign Optimization:
- Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns across different channels (digital, traditional, social media, etc.).
- Recommend adjustments and improvements to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Customer Analysis:
- Segment and profile customers to identify high-value target segments.
- Analyze customer journeys and behavior to improve retention and loyalty.
ROI Analysis:
- Calculate and report on the return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives.
- Work with the finance team to ensure marketing budgets are effectively allocated.
Reporting and Presentation:
- Create clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making.
Creative Strategy / Account Management:
- Responding adequately to client briefs by developing marketing/ advertising strategy and copies for digital, ATL and BTL platforms
- Collaborating with marketing, business development managers and business unit liaisons to ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines.
- Managing the creative/BTL process, including invites, BTL plans, architecture layout, etc.
- Creating opportunities to pitch new accounts and exhibiting a thorough understanding of the business and marketing challenges of key prospects.
- Coordinating presentations/ pitch approach
- Providing strategic recommendations to existing or prospective clients to include new customers/audiences, innovative programs, and market research.
- Developing the big idea and marketing slogans
- Creating content to support proposals and pitches.
- Coordinating and supporting PR and media buying/ experimental activities
- Developing Creative/ experiential plans for clients and organization
- Preparing event budgets and negotiating with vendor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Good use of PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems is a plus.
- Comfortable travelling Internationally/ Pan Nigeria for work.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in creative strategy / Client service role in an advertising/ experiential agency.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, social media email marketing).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
