Job Title: Marine Logistics Supervisor
Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The candidate must have very good knowledge of Lagos state coastal waters to enable the coordination and arrangement of logistics voyages
• Responsible for arranging all necessary components of a voyage, which includes assigning the boat crews, determining the required bunker required for boat voyages, monitoring of bunker usage, bunker in stock and replacement efforts, developing and maintaining boats maintenance schedule, day-to-day engagement with captains & crew members to ensure health status of every boat, managing the crews to keep regular inventory of safety accessories in boats, etc.

Other Responsibilities

• Manage daily logistics operations and resolve issues to ensure on-time and safe movement of boats from one Jetty to another Jetty in different locations around Lagos waters.
• Manage fleet assets and develop fleet strategies to meet business requirements.
• Supervise general inventory management consisting of reconciling and maintaining of operating spare parts and others.
• Establish and manage relations with clients, other operators, and customers.
• Identify opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to management.
• Assist audits of vendor invoices and month-end processing to incorporate finance accruals.
• Ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistics daily operational goals inclusive of boat functions and Inventory Management.
• Develop and initiate daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Weakly reports to include hours operated by each boat, health status, etc.
