Job Title: Manual Pet Blowing Operator

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • To operate the PET machine blowing
  • To operate the PET machine through HMI with in specific parameter
  • To minimize down time
  • To prioritize the safety measure
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
  • Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations
  • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
  • All health and safety procedures to be followed
  • Complying to food safety guidelines as provided in quality and safety standards as updated from time to time under different standards
  • To maintain the GMP practice
  • To minimize the rejection of bottle. (Losses)
  • To get the optimum production as per rated capacity
  • Makes adjustments to machine controls to correct
  • Set up machinery for operation
  • Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four (4) years work experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing firm
  • Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
  • A strong strategic and business mindset
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of production and plant processes
  • Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
