Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Objective

  • Support the maintenance team in meeting asset integrity and production objectives through expertise in maintenance, maintenance systems, and engineering.
  • Provide operational support for team activities including planning, organizing, assurance and general reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Learn functional aspects of plant maintenance systems in sufficient detail to facilitate implementation and support the system after go-live.
  • Recommend required quality and structure of data based on available data sources, business rules, metrics, and global standards.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation, testing, modification, and commissioning of technical assets.
  • Develop maintenance standards, strategies, schedules, programs and provide guidance to industrial maintenance crews.
  • Develop new strategies and processes for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in plant operations.
  • Design, read and interpret plant drawings and project documentation across disciplines.
  • Prepare assurance checklist and procedures for handling of Maintenance Management System issues, in addition to providing assurance on system data.
  • Prepare conventional and computer-assisted (CAD) engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Investigate failures or unexpected maintenance problems, produce valuable insights from system transaction and condition data towards the improvement of the asset reliability and maintenance strategies.
  • Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs to anticipate potential issues and prevent unplanned equipment failures and downtime.
  • Coordinate data remediation, integration, and migration activities from legacy systems to new implementations in addition to data build for new implementations

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required and must have completed NYSC.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft office suite.
  • Must have worked in an engineering or technology role within the last 3 years.
  • A minimum of 4 years post-graduation work experience, of which at least 2 years should have been spent in a core engineering/ technology role in the Oil and Energy Industry or any processing industry.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting process plant drawings.

Our Offer

  • The compensation package range is N4,200,000 - N5,400,000 Annually depending on proven experience.
  • Twenty-two working days paid leave and other benefits.
