Job Title: Logistics / Warehouse Officer

Location: Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • As the Logistics / Warehouse Officer, you shall be responsible for planning, managing, and facilitating the overall supply chain needs/requirements of the company, including handling deliveries across all locations and branches, liaising with logistics companies/vendors, managing stocks, and other fleet concerns to deliver products on deadlines.
  • You will be responsible for the smooth running of the store, storekeeping of products, and stock management of the products assembled and materials/parts received at the factory.

Accountabilities

  • Strategic planning and management of logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service in the inventory team.
  • Responsible for tracking, receiving, and stocking all items ordered.
  • Ensure materials are appropriately stored.
  • Responsible for supervising and accounting for all inventory of raw materials supplied for production and finished goods.
  • Work proactively with the cashier in ensuring and realizing efficiencies in inventory management.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports of all logistics and warehouse activities.
  • Oversee and plan all activities required for achieving operational efficiency by monitoring product quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and transportation costs as needed.
  • Organizing warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments
  • Tackle and resolve any issues or complaints that may arise.
  • Keep track of the cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets.
  • Oversee the movement, storage, and distribution of goods or materials.
  • Resolving delivery inconsistencies or delay
  • Manage and respond to inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters.
  • Ensure that shipping documents are well-kept and updated in conformity with operational requirements. Examples include cost statements/receipts, stock counts, delivery of products, etc.
  • Examine, identify, plan, and manage logistics and warehousing operations by ensuring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functional and that all relevant records are accurately maintained.
