Job Title: Delivery Man
Location: Ago / Okota, Lagos
Job Details
We are looking to employ a Delivery Man. One who is capable of handling 10 - 30 tons truck. He will also be expected to:
- Deliver goods to our branches and customers within and outside Lagos.
- Obey all traffic rules and regulations and respect law enforcement agents at all times.
- Report any defect to company vehicle(s) in writing to the General/Operations Manager
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND / SSCE / NECO / GCE qualification with 4 - 10 years work experience.
- Long years of driving experience and good knowledge of vehicle maintenance is required for this position.
Salary
N50,000 - 60,000 / Month.

Job Title: Delivery Personnel
Location: Ago, Okota / Isolo - Lagos
Purpose
Statements to demonstrate why this job exists:
- Delivery Men distribute products promptly to our customers, represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase ourprofitability and customer satisfaction.
Principal Accountabilities
The main areas in which this job must get results in order to achieve its purpose / accountabilities of the job holder:
- Work with and shall take instructions from General/Operations Manager.
- Make sure that their vehicles are handled with utmost care to ensure that safety of driver, goods and the vehicle.
- Check the tyres, water levels, oil level, fuel level, fire extinguishers, vehicle tools, lights, spare tyres. C-caution etc. every morning before moving into the road.
- Ensure that the vehicles are washed regularly and as directed by the General/Operations Manager.
- Make accurate entries into the log books for every particular movement and submit same to the General/Operations Manager for endorsements every morning.
- Inform the General/Operations Manager of the expiry date for any of the vehicle particulars/documents being usedat least two weeks before the actual expiry date.
- Obey all traffic rules and regulations and respect law enforcement agents at all times.
- Report any defect to company vehicle(s) in writing to the General/OperationsManager.
- Do not carry any unauthorized goods/passengers in company vehicle.
- Ascertain the quantity of any item that he is transporting on behalf of the company and ensure that documents he has for such items are correct in all respects.
- Drivers of delivery trucks acts as loaders/off loaders at all times.
- Drivers should ensure that their phones are constantly on while on duty using approved handsfree devices.
- Ensure that delivery notes are signed by receivers of any delivery note are returned to the warehouse immediately they come back to base.
- Make deliveries without failures only to authorized locations.
- Always project the image of the company whenever receiving or delivering goods on behalf of the company.
- Resume and close duties depending on the demand of the job at hand and as determined by their Manager.
- Perform any other related duties when required.
Critical Qualifications / Skills / Experience
- OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
- Valid professional driver’s license.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations.
- Ability to drive light vehicles; medium and large trucks driving experience an advantage - 10 to 30 Tons Truck
- At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in motor vehicle transport and/or maintenance management
- Fully familiar with driving protocols and procedures
- Great sense of responsibility aimed at safety of vehicle and goods
- Demonstrated ability to act logically and quickly in adverse situations
- Good communication skills targeted at handling correspondence with managers and customers
- Proven ability to drive heavy vehicles for long hours
- Special talent for charting out best possible routes in order to save time and fuel
- Physical dexterous to handle loading and unloading tasks
- Exceptional skills in city, intercity and interstate navigation
- Proven ability to exhibit great attention to detail
- Keen understanding of handling basic vehicle maintenance and repair tasks
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Capability of working well under pressure especially in adverse situations such as accidents or traffic jams

Job Title: Sales Executive
Location: Lagos
Purpose
With guidance from the Branch Head, the Sales Executive shall:
- Promote in all practical ways in the branch, the company’s statements of essence - (Mission statement, Vision statement and Value statement as well as converting the branch from a mere workplace into a value centre in line with the company’s value centre statement).
- Promote sales and marketing in his/her territory and uphold the company’s brand with exceptional customer service.
Principal Accountabilities
- Personally, learn and be able to repeat from memory the statements of company essence.
- With direction from the Branch Head, operates the branch and its activities and relationships with all parties in line with the letters and spirit of these statements of essence.
- Continually meet and exceed sales performance targets for the branch.
- Support the Branch Head to implement Strategies effective for achieving the overall Sales and Marketing objectives in his/her territory
- Execute marketing activities through the most effective combination of traditional and internet/social media marketing channels.
- Have responsibility for the maintenance and safe keep of all necessary showroom records and documents in accordance with company policies, rules and regulations including but not limited to invoices, receipts, waybills and other transaction booklets, stock records and bin cards, branch sales day book, branch transactions diary.
- Follow up promptly on any sales lead and enquiries for company products
- Conduct price negotiations with clients on behalf of Goldline to strike a profitable bargain
- Make and defend presentations to customers and be able to make and present effective written quotations to customers speedily when required.
- Follow up with the post sales activities relating to any of the branch sales commitments by mastering the contents of the company’s PSA document and then support the Branch Head in its implementation to ensure the highest quality service delivery to customers and resolution of issues or complaints speedily.
- Prepare and present to the Branch Head daily, weekly and monthly branch report on Sales and Marketing activities.
- Conduct market research within his territory to identify competing products and services, demand of products and other trends useful in taking key decisions and include these in periodic reports to the Branch Head.
- Ensure that the showroom, it’s furnishings and fittings and its environment is kept clean and well maintained and that everything in it is arranged in an organized and decent manner at all times.
- Ensure that all inventory in the showroom is clean at all times and displayed in the most advantageous manner possible with all necessary accessories properly fitted to attract customers attention and appreciation.
- Ensure that the showroom is lighted optimally at all times when a customer is present.
- Ensure that inventory in a branch warehouse is received, arranged, stacked and kept with utmost care to preserve the value and completeness at all times and in line with good sense and existing company warehousing and inventory handling policy.
- Attend all Sales Training/meeting as shall be scheduled and communicated by the appropriate authorities.
- Develop and maintain a computerized customer and prospect database
- Timely detection and report of potential service failure
- Continually develop an understanding of the company’s culture, products, ethical initiatives, other areas of the business and reflect this in everyday performance.
- Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement
- Perform other duties as may be required
Qualifications / Skills / Experiences
- B.A / B.Sc./ HND in Marketing, Finance, Economics, or other related Business discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in the field of Sales and/or Marketing.
- Good Communicator, Confident and Persuasive.
- Ability to prospect for new/potential sales.
- Possesses excellent customer service skills.
- Capacity to work under pressure.
- Smart and intelligent to make positive decision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and other software applications.
- A fast learner with good people’s skills who can connect easily with clients.
