A CBN-licensed Microfinance Bank located in Anambra State, and already making profit, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced staff to fill the position below:     Job Title: Head, Operations Code Number: HOP-SUN-7.18 Location: Anambra Responsibilities

  • Must be able to run and maintain a well-articulated operations department of a State Microfinance bank and ensure all regulatory returns are prepared and submitted to the regulatory bodies on time
  • Must ensure monthly bank reconciliations are rendered on time
  • Will be a member of the management team of the MFB
Qualifications
  • B.Sc/HND in Accounting
  • Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
  • Be below the age of 46 years
Experience:
  • A minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience Out of which, at least four (4) must have been in the financial services industry and at least two (2) at the senior management level.
  • Evidence that the candidate possesses proven skills and competences in the practical microfinance banking and has undergone the Microfinance Certification Program and obtained a Certificate in Microfinance Banking issued by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN),
  • A perfect knowledge of BankOne core banking software will be an added advantage.

    Job Title: Head, Finance & Administration Code Number: HFA-SUN-7.18 Location: Anambra Responsibilities
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of Financial Analysis Ability to carry out monthly financial analysis, ensure profitable management of the bank's treasury and render monthly financial report
  • Will prepare financial statement of accounts, annual budget and monthly various analysis to monitor performance by the MFB
  • Will be a member of the management team of the MFB.

  • Must possess the adequate skills and personality needed to head an internal audit and compliance unit of an MFB
  • Must be have the ability to be firm and fair
  • Able to detect, prevent and frustrate fraud in a banking institution
  • Must ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and timeliness at all external/internal reporting; present the auditor's report directly to the Board or, a monthly basis
  • Will be a member of the Management Team of the MFB

  • Man the Front Desk of the Bank, receive customers, provide information
  • Assist to open accounts and direct customers to appropriate officers of the bank
  • Must possess very high interpersonal skills, empathy and eagerness to proffer solutions to customers' needs and problems
  • Must be ready to smile to customers at all times, while attending to them promptly.
