Job Title: Chief Mechanic

Job Description
- Attends and promote the safety meetings and have special safety meetings with his mechanic crew whenever necessary.
- Attends all the safety drills held onboard.
- Ensure good housekeeping in his/her area.
- Be familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem and by the Operator and promote the implementation of same.
- Ensure that his subordinates use compulsory protective equipment and are safety minded in their day to day work.
- Ensure that no mechanical work that requires a “work permit” or mechanical/electrical isolation is started until a proper investigation has been carried out and approvals have been given in writing.
- Promptly report all accidents, near-miss accidents and non-conformances job.
- React timely to all corrective action requests.
- Ensure that personnel under his supervision possess the necessary qualifications and experience to properly carry out the work assigned to them from a professional as well as a safety point of view.
- Be familiar with all the classification society’s and the authority’s rules and regulation applicable to his area of responsibility.
- Ensures that before and maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out precautions have been taken and “Work Permit” has been signed, in case of need.
- Uses compulsory protective equipment and be safety minded during his/her day to day work.
- Familiarize himself with reporting routines regarding the AMOS based maintenance system onboard.
Requirements
- The Chief Mechanic shall have a good knowledge of mechanical parts of the rig and equipment, with drilling equipment.
- At least five years of experience in Jack up units. His/her training referred to the assignment and in accordance to the requirements of Oil & Gas Industry to work offshore (OPITO).
- He shall have a good command of both written and spoken English.

Job Title: Driller

Job Description
- Supervising the drilling team and controlling the rate of drilling
- Controlling operations on the drill floor
- Overseeing assembly of the drilling tools and connecting sections of the drill pipe
- Operating the drill control machinery
- Keeping records of the drilling process
- Making sure the team follows health and safety rules.
Requirements
- Well Control Certificate at Driller level issued by an institution approved by the IWCF, combined Surface and Subsea BOP Stack
- Good knowledge of mathematics (passed Driller’s Qualification course 1 and 2 or a similar level)
- Cyber base experience is considered advantageous.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in all phases of onsite drilling operations is required.

Job Title: Chief Electrician

- Participates in pre-tour and tool-box meetings with all team members.
- Complies fully with all QHSE requirements, policies and standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Completes formal training sessions on QHSE and technical subjects.
- Obtains all required certifications.
- Maintains all equipment in good, safe working order and reports any problems or deviations.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment on the rig and the camp.
- Is fully familiar with preventive maintenance programs.
- Writes analytical reports.
- Supports the development of employees and acts as a mentor.
- Sets annual objectives for subordinate employees and reviews them periodically.
- Participates in QHSE audits.
- Sets a safe work example to the team.
Requirements
- Industrial electrical or electronics certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum five years’ field experience with similar equipment onshore or offshore, preferably on an oil well drilling rig

Job Title: Rig Manager

Job Description
- The rig manager will have the responsibility for the management, the supervision and the direction of the crew onboard the rig.
- The rig manager will also make sure the execution of operations on the rig is done in a safe, economic and efficient manner that meets the client’s expectations.
The Role
- To plan and manage the activities of the drill crew.
- To demonstrate and promote safety leadership to the rig crews.
- Management of rig operations, production, maintenance, costs and personnel to the assigned rig you will be managing.
- Supervision, direction and training of drill crew members.
- Ensure that drilling operations are conducted in accordance with policies and practices of the company and the Operator.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 Years' international experience working as a Rig Manager.
- Must have good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Must have at least 8 years of experience within the oil drilling industry and have at least 2 years in International Operations.
- Must be in possession of current IWCF Certificate at Supervisory Level.
- Must have a thorough theoretical and practical knowledge of Drilling Operations and all equipment used on the rigs. Where necessary his experience shall be supplemented to include the operation of semi-automatic pipe handling and drilling equipment.
- Good leadership and supervisory experience.
