Job Title: Survey Manager
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- To conduct on the spot and final survey as and when necessary and comment upon franchise, excess/under insurance and any other related matter.
- Analyze and estimate the quantum and description of the subject matter of loss in order to minimize the company’s risk exposure
- Conduct pre-loss survey and advise on risk improvement measures.
Job Responsibilities
- Pre-loss inspection and survey
- Post-loss inspection and survey
- Claims negotiation/adjustments
- Claims investigation
- Market survey
- Contractor’s inspection for standardisation
- Salvage recovery

Job Specification
- Qualification: Minimum of HND or First degree in Engineering or any related field.
- Age: Between 30 – 35 years
- Experience Required: Minimum Experience of 8 years post NYSC experience out of which 5 must have been in Insurance Survey preferably in a loss adjusting firm or survey department of an insurance company
- Professional Membership: Associate or Student membership of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria(CIIN), COREN is a MUST. Additional professional qualification or affiliation will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Internal Audit Officer
Location: Nigeria
General Description
- The Internal Audit Officer will support the Group Head, Audit and Risk Management in providing independent review of the company’s activities and its related entities.
- He/She will ensure strict adherence to the Company’s internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory and statutory requirements in order to promote transparency and accountability, add significant value, enhance risk management, improve operational efficiency and strengthen the internal control system within the operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Treat daily all vouchers relating to expenses, commission and Claims.
- Carry out comprehensive Departmental/Branch Audit.
- Participate in the audit of the company’s management and financial statement.
- Participate in the audit of regulatory returns.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, implementation and review of the internal audit work programmes, audit plan and risk register and drive the development, deployment and update/review relevant policies and other frameworks for internal audit function.
- Assist management in the understanding and application of and adherence to internal control measures, risk management and compliance to various regulatory pronouncements.
- Perform audits through the review of physical and electronic records, evaluate the level of compliance with established business control policies, processes, procedures, standards, laws and regulations in assigned functional areas/business units, identify control weaknesses or process improvement opportunities and initiate workable solutions.
- Document and file work papers and audit procedures performed. Track timely and effective corrective actions taken following audit recommendations.
- Conduct monthly review of bank reconciliation statements for all existing bank accounts.
- Investigate and report all alleged cases of fraud, waste, abuse and inefficiencies and make recommendations on appropriate preventive or remedial actions.
- Carry out stock count and report on same to the Group Head.
- Witness receipt of inventories supplied and/or purchased by respective departments
- Assist in the implementation of the internal audit strategic initiatives relating to key responsibilities.
- Write audit reports and recommendations.
- Carry out from time to time operational review of procedures of Departments.
- Assist in budget monitoring to guide against extra-budgetary expenses.
Qualifications
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
Years of Experience:
- 3 Years post NYSC Experience

Job Title: Re-Insurance Officer

Job Objective(s)
- Develop and manage customer relationships with other insurance companies with a view to increasing the company’s share of facultative business.
- Analyze the risks of such business to determine apportionment and placement of such with treaty in order to minimize the company’s risk exposure
Job Responsibilities
- Handling of reinsurance correspondence
- Raising of credit & debit notes on facultative reinsurance inward and outward
- Sending of renewal notice to reinsurances.
- Maintaining a comprehensive reinsurance register.
- Preparation of claims paid treaty bordereau.
- Preparation of outstanding claims reports.
- Handling of facultative inward and outwork claims.
- Preparation of cheque requisition on facultative inward and outward payment.

Job Title: Investment Officer

Job Objective(s)
- Provides direction and guidance to investment activities
- Manages customers contributions in line with agreed investment guidelines and limits

Job Responsibilities
- Assists the Head, Investment in the development of the company’s investment policies, processes, and recommend modifications as required.
- Ensure proper placement of investments as and when necessary.
- Regular monitoring of matured investments and ensured rollover/recall when appropriate.
- Daily update of investment records and files.
- Negotiation of interest rates with Banks and any other financial institution.
- Prepare regular analysis of Banks and other financial institutions with a view to advising management of best investment decisions.
- Monitors investments, economic conditions, markets, and portfolio performance with respect to stated investment objectives/goals and provides analysis and reports that facilitate decision making.
- Carries out other duties as assigned by the Investment Manager.
Job Specification
- Qualification: Minimum of HND or First degree in Accounting or any relevant Social Sciences discipline.
- Age: Between 25 – 35 years
- Experience Required: Minimum Experience of 4 years post NYSC experience out of which 2 must have been in Accounting functions.
- Professional Membership: Associate or Student membership of the Institute of Chartered Stockbrokers is a MUST. Additional professional qualification or affiliation such as ICAN will be an added advantage.
