Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst- Security Operations Centre (SOC)
Location: Nigeria
Job Roles
- To investigate suspicious security activities and maintain security monitoring tools
Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting information security investigations on the identified security incident received through the SOC entry channels (SIEM, Tickets, Email and Phone), act as a point of escalation for Level-1 SOC security analysts in support of information security investigations to provide guidance and oversight on incident resolution and containment techniques.
- Responsible for working in a 24 x 7 security operations center environment.
- Act as the lead coordinator to individual information security incidents.
- Mentor security analysts regarding risk management, information security controls, incident analysis, incident response, SIEM monitoring, and other operational tasks (tools, techniques, Procedures) in support of technologies managed by the Security Operations Center.
- Document incidents from initial detection through final resolution.
- Participate in security incident management and vulnerability management processes.
- Lead internal threat / unintended threat hunting/deception activities.
- Coordinate with IT teams on escalations, tracking, performance issues, and outages.
- Works as part of a team to ensure that corporate data and technology platform components are safeguarded from known threats.
- Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, and management. Prepare Monthly Executive Summary Reports for managed clients and continuously improve their content and presentation. Provide recommendations in tuning and optimization of security systems, SOC security process, procedures and policies.
- Define, create and maintain SIEM correlation rules, customer build documents, security process and procedures. Follow ITIL practices regarding incident, problem and change management.
- Staying up to date with emerging security threats including applicable regulatory security requirements.
- The SOC Security Analyst is expected to have a solid understanding of information security and computer systems concepts and should be ready to work in shifts.
- Analyze and work with Threat Intelligence team to investigate security alerts and provide incident response.
- Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements
Job Requirements
Education:
- A good first Degree in any Computer Science or the equivalent. Relevant Master's Degree will be an advantage
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in security device management and SIEM
Certification(s):
- ISO 27001, ITIL, CCSA, CISA, CEH, CISSP, OSCP certification and other professional qualification will be an added advantage
Skills/Competence:
- Proficient in Incident Management and Response
- Experience in security device management and SIEM (ArcSight)
- In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to produce trend and pattern analysis.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.

Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst - Security, Policy, Governance and Compliance

Job Roles
- To provide strategic direction and ensure objectives are achieved using agreed organizational resources, while monitoring the success and failure of the enterprise security program
- Work closely with IT to secure information and develop strategies to minimize the variety of risks that the Bank may be vulnerable to
Functions and Responsibilities
- Effectively update approved policies as well as communicate to relevant stakeholders.
- Anchor information security awareness within the group and the bank at large.
- Maintain and manage risk and asset registers.
- Closely monitor Group projects to ensure they are successful and executed in a timely manner.
- Monitor Group programs to ensure that the budgets assigned to the programs are not exceeded.
- Act as Librarian for the group to ensure all documents are securely stored and readily available.
- Seeks to achieve required standards (legislative, regulatory, contractual obligations).
- Ensure work-life balance for group members through trainings, leave plan, shift calendar and welfare management.

- Ensure that risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, threat analyses and penetration testing are conducted periodically and consistently to identify risk to the organization’s information assets.
- Perform information system security vulnerability scanning to discover and analyze vulnerabilities and characterize risks.
- Recommend appropriate remedial actions to mitigate risks and follow up on control measures to ensure it’s done.
- Participate in post incident reviews and analysis to determine the root cause of information security incidents, develop corrective actions, reassess risk, evaluate response effectiveness and take appropriate remedial actions.
Job Requirements
Education:
- A good First Degree in any discipline. Relevant Master's Degree will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in banking/financial services institution with experience in banking operations and information security/ risk analysis
Certification(s):
- Certifications in Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Business Resilience IT Professional (CBRITP), or Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (C) DRE are a big plus. ITIL and IT certifications and other professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst - Threat Intelligence and Incidence Response

- To proactively prevent Cyber Incidents and quickly contain them when they do occur.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Investigate security alerts and provide incident response.
- Use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
- Receive and analyze cyber security intelligence feed; recommend security controls and/or remediation as needed.
- Periodic threat hunting activities to determine presence or absence of cyber security threats
- Collaborate with the Forensics team to analyze malware samples, obtain IOCs and implement necessary preventive measures

Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst - Forensics and Analytics

Job Roles
- Performs digital forensic and data acquisitions in line with the Bank’s Information and Cybersecurity Policies while maintaining confidentiality, integrity and availability of data
Functions and Responsibilities
- Recover data from computer hard drives and other data storage devices using basic security tools
- Analyze data and evaluate its relevance to the Incident under investigationAnalysis
- Take forensic image of hard drives for lab analysis
- Document each stage of the investigation and maintain a focus on event logs, repeatability and chain of custody
- Document digital forensic policies and processes
- Ensure all documentation, including internal team policies, procedures and process diagrams related to all forensic functions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Handshake with Threat Intelligence and Cyber Incident response squad on swift identification, prioritization and analysis of computer incidents
- Incident management and reporting
- Support a computer forensic lab in a technically secure environment
Job Requirements
Education:
- A good first degree in any discipline preferably, Computer Science, Forensic and Analytics, or Cybersecurity field will be an advantage
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years in banking / Information Technology institution with experience in cybersecurity, computer forensics / electronic discovery and incident response.
- 2 years’ experience performing forensic acquisition and examination of Windows, Unix/Linux, Macintosh-based computers and servers in a corporate enterprise environment, OWASP 10, CEH, CHFI and Forensic Toolkit Knowledge
