Job Title: Dozer Operator
Location: Kaduna
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Dozer Operator include, but are not limited to:
- Equipment Operation
- Operate the dozer and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
- Understand, interpret and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
- Demonstrate an understanding of grades and interpret roadway plans and drawings.
- Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required.
Safety:
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
- Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
Qualifications
Technical Certificate:
- 5 years’ experience within the road construction industry and materials, knowledge of road construction processes and industry.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience operating a Dozer is compulsory.
Technical Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Dozer and other heavy equipment
Job Title: Accountant/Book keeper
Location: Kaduna
Job Brief
- We are looking for a qualified Accountant/Book keeper who will prepare, compute, manage, research and analyse all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of our business.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
- Prepare budget and financial forecasts
- Collect, analyse and summarize account information
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.
- Develop periodic reports for management
- Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
- Publish financial statements in time

Job Title: Truck/Trailer Driver

Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres
- Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair machinery and vehicles.
- You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
- Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner

Job Description
- This position functions as Jeep driver. This position must be fully capable of operating the jeep in a safe and practical manner.
- In addition, the incumbent has complete responsibility for maintaining the vehicles in a clean fashion, and for coordinating any needed vehicle service with the Conservancy’s mechanical staff.
Responsibilities
As a Jeep driver, the incumbent:
- Must properly inspect and perform adequate pre and post-tour safety inspection of vehicle, including but not limited to, checking oil, air pressure, water and gas levels, and ensure that the vehicle is clean and ready to provide a safe and pleasant experience.
- Must act in a highly professional, polite and service oriented fashion while creating a favorable impression of the Conservancy.

Education/Experience

Job Description
- Responsible for operating a stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. Depresses buttons, lifts levers, and ensures load is safely attached to crane before bringing it down
- Responsible for personal safety and safety of co-workers
- Responsible for slings, cables, straps, and the crane prior to lifting operations

Job Title: Excavator Operator
Location: Kaduna
Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the construction excavator.
- The Excavator Operator uses mechanical controls to operate the boom, arm and bucket to excavate, level off and work the ground.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation
- Operate the excavator and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary.
- Ensure trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade.
- Follow directions of ground crew regarding craning, gravel placement and grading.
- Cut grade with minimal time spent on excavating to ensure production is on schedule.
- Conduct trench work, which meets OH&S requirements.
Qualifications
- SSCE/ Technical Certificate (NABTEB)

Work Experience:
- 5 years’ experience within the road construction industry
- 2 to 3 years’ experience operating an Excavator is required.
