Greeting customers who enter the shop
Ensure goods are well displayed or merchandised
Stocking shelves with merchandise
Welcome and advise customers on goods and services available at the store
Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for
Answering queries from customers
Handling customer complaints within the recommended SLA
Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor
Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays
Keeping the store tidy and clean.

Professional Requirements

Possesses National Diploma Certificate
At least 1 year experience in a retail role
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft suite - MS Excel, Word.

Skills / Competence Requirements:

Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of Integrity
Smart, intelligent with eyes for details
High Energy level
Efficiency and effectiveness
Personal organization and self-discipline
Amiable personality.

Job Title: Senior Retail Officer Location: Lekki, Lagos Reporting to: Retail Supervisor Job Type: permanent Job Objective

To ensure sell out on targets by effectively selling store products
Ensuring customer support and satisfaction
Ensuring effective merchandising

Job Responsibilities

Greeting customers who enter the shop
Ensure goods are well displayed or merchandised
Stocking shelves with merchandise
Welcome and advise customers on goods and services available at the store
Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for
Answering queries from customers
Handling customer complaints within the recommended SLA
Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor
Balancing cash registers with receipts
Dealing with customer refunds.
Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays
Keeping the store tidy and clean

Professional Requirements

First Degree in Social Science or related discipline.
At least 2 years' experience in a retail role
Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft suite - MS Excel, Word
