We are recruiting to fill the position below:   Job Title: Geophysical Quality Control Representative Location: Lagos Job Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and oversight to a team of quality controllers overseeing Geophysical vendor field operators.
  • Must understand 2D, 3D and 4D seismic data acquisition and determine data quality & develop strategies for overcoming the limitations.
  • Must be able to plan seismic operations using Operations Integrity principles to ensure technical, SSH&E and economic objectives are met.
  • Must be able to interpret results of QC tools & procedures to steward field operations and monitor quality.
  • Must possess a high working knowledge of each seismic contractor’s technical capabilities (source, receiver, recording systems, etc), and knows their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Must be able to coordinate key Exxon Mobil interfaces to achieve a high level of integration.
  • Knowledgeable in geophysical site investigation acquisition, processing and interpretation including high resolution seismic surveys, sub bottom profiler surveys, multi-beam echo sounder surveys and side scan sonar surveys.
  • Sample and preserve water columns, surficial and near surficial sediments for environmental, geochemical, or geological / geotechnical purposes.
  • Understand controlled amplitude and controlled phase processing geophysical data.
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of the latest processing techniques including broad band processing, data reconstruction and noise attenuation.
Qualification
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years.
  • B.Sc or MSc in Geophysical or Geotechnical field
Skills:
  • Knowledge of Operations Integrity Management Systems (OIMS) procedures.
  • Effective in communication, interface management, auditing and assessing operations and problem solving.
  • Knowledge of data delivery and reporting standards.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of acquisition techniques and industry Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) standards.
  • Knowledge of seismic equipment operations and positioning.

Job Title: Geoscience Technical Quality Controller Location: Lagos Job Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and advice an technical, operational, and Safety, Security, Health and Environmental (SSH&E) aspects of site investigation field operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring site investigation vendors and their sub-contractors adhere to the contract requirements, project plans and industry standards.
  • Responsible for communicating findings to Lead Quality Controller.
  • Application of principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
  • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that tasks are executed in accordance with specifications, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to lower level Electrical leads.
Qualification
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years.
  • B.Sc or MSc in Geophysical or Geotechnical field. Certifications in offshore installations and marine vessels
Skills:
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria.
  • Knowledge of Exxon Mob’s Operations Integrity Management Systems (OIMS) procedures
  • Effective in communication, interface management, auditing and assessing operations, and problem solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of acquisition techniques, industry Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) standards.
  • Proficient in current communication media and technologies (i.e. Microsoft Office, telecommunications, email, meeting)

Job Title: Engineer - Mechanical Lead Ill Location: Lagos Job Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and coordinate discipline engineering technical work products.
  • Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to laid down procedures and maintain a Deviation Control Log.
  • Support internal engineering general or Global Practice Initiatives as requested by the supervisor.
  • Coordination and communication of various issues among the various teams that affect the discipline engineering design, safety and regulatory compliance of the work.
  • Keep Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of discipline engineering progress, deviations and execution concerns.
  • Steward discipline engineering queries and technical information requests.
  • Review discipline designs, drawings and documents.
  • Participate in discipline engineering reviews at contractors locations. Drive and promote capital efficiency in engineering design.
Qualification
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years.
  • B.Sc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering
Skills:
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, frequent changes and priorities.
  • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria.

Job Title: Engineer - Electrical Lead III Location: Lagos Job Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that tasks are executed in accordance with specifications, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to lower level electrical leads.
  • Supervise a team of electrical engineers who design, develop and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment and machines.
  • Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years
  • Qualification: B.Sc, BTech or HND in Electrical Engineering
Skills:
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
