Job Title: Transport Officer

Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Expectation Summary

• The Transport Officer will be responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation.
• This includes managing the fleets, budgets, organising schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.

Essential Responsibilities
He/she will be expected to:

• Manage the various fleets within the transport department
• Train and advise drivers to adhere to high ethical standards and comply with national traffic laws.
• Develop forecasts, logistic objectives and plans to meet management set goals.
• Deploy drivers.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with 4 - 5 years work experience.
• Be meticulous and detailed
• Possess high dosage of emotional intelligence in dealing with drivers
• Possess adequate management skills.
• Stay abreast with HSE policy of the company and ensure maximum compliance
• Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ensure vehicles are inspected for damage and cleaning after every trip (Jockey wheels, tow coupling, tyres, spares etc)
• Basic experience in mechanical dynamics of machines and trucks
• Highly proactive and frugal.

Job Title: IT Technician

Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Expectation Summary

• We are seeking to hire a smart, intelligent and enthusiastic Information Technology Officer.
• The candidate will be responsible for the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications (like Tally ERP), platforms (WAN, LAN, MAN), hardware and software that is used within the organization.
• The IT Officer will be responsible for developing network maintenance and growth plans and keeping the company up to date on the latest Information technologies that could help the company to succeed.

Essential Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to:

• To manage the information technology and computer systems in the organization.
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues relative to Tally ERP software in a timely manner.
• Manage and perform administrative duties for the biometrics device.
• Manage and resolve issues that arise with the CCTV system.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
• Running regular checks on network and data security.
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation.
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with Management.
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
• Install hardware and peripheral components.
• Administer email and anti-virus systems.
• Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintain vendor contracts.
• Liaise with external vendors with regards IT matters
• Selecting appropriate hardware and software. 
• Ensuring software licensing laws are followed and keep up to date with new technology.

Requirements

Job Title: Head Technician (Refrigeration & Cold Rooms)

Location: Edo
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Engineering
Reports to: Head of Operations
Grade: Senior Level

Job Expectation Summary

• The technician of 6 - 8 years of practical experience will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of cold rooms in Benin-City.
• He will be responsible for maintaining standards across all the cold rooms.
• He will be responsible for the overall performance of the various units and ensure zero down time of machines and equipment.
• He is expected to lead, mentor, supervise, train and appraise technicians.

Essential Responsibilities
He/she will be expected to:

• Generate daily weekly and monthly performance/status report of cold rooms.
• Handle general repairs and maintenance.
• See to the functionality of respective units, marshals across the various cold rooms.
• Handle emergencies as they occur.
• Strong capacity to lead, supervise, mentor and train.
• Supervision of diesel supply.
• Installation of new electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiencies in Microsoft office suites
• Strong leadership propensities
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification and Experience

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with cold-room units
• Familiarity with industrial and / or commercial electrical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong leadership skills.
