Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Officer Location: Lagos
Job Description
  • Preparation of detailed Bill of Quantities.
  • Measurement, extraction of quantities from working drawings and cost analyses.
  • Supervising projects and Physical measurement on site.
  • Preparation of Interim Valuation for stage payment
  • Preparation of Bill of Materials.
  • Measurement of quantities from working drawings.
  • Physical Measurement on site.
  • Reviews the cost structure and pricing policies and provides clients with job quotes depending on the order, size and completion deadlines
  • Create budgets using contract pricing and review pricing and engineering data with clients
  • Collaborate with Product Development department and technical Design department to outline budget parameters and update budgets with any necessary changes
  • Provide raw material forecasts and cost-analysis to management
  • Oversight of Factory controls over production, inventory management & Cost management
  • Project drawings, B.O.Q., tender submission and material take offs (MTO).
  • Coordination of company projects from inception to completion at site
  • Ability to operate Qs Cad, AUTOCAD and MASTER BILL software effectively.
  • Understand working drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical drawings)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project packages.

Job Title: Crane / Rigger Operator Location: Lagos
Job Description
  • Operate crane in accordance to job specifications.
  • Hydraulic Truck Crane Operators - operate diesel powered cranes which are mounted on truck type chassis, to lift material, objects or personnel into place.
  • Drives crane to work site and properly sets up per the manufacturer’s operators manual and company rules regarding cribbing/matting as required to perform job requirements.
  • Directs activities of oilers, truck drivers or helpers in setting up and knocking down the equipment.
  • Structure, raise and lowers boom to raise and lower materials.
  • Operate crane according to signals from oiler or helper may bolt, pin boom sections together to modify boom lengths.
  • Perform routine maintenance, Carry tools for running repairs and ensure usage of PPE safety equipment.
  • Properly barricades counterweight tail swing radius.
  • Take complete charge of all safety pertaining to set up and knockdown and operation of crane;
  • Understands and can properly fill out job ticket for customer to accept responsibility for jobsite and billing.
  • Drives truck to worksites and unloads truck.

Job Title: Welder, Fitter, Steel Fabrication and Structural Technician Location: Lagos
Job Description
  • Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
  • Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.
  • Cuts work piece, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knife.
  • Melts lead bar, wire, or scrap to add lead to joint or to extrude melted scrap into reusable form.
  • Installs or repairs equipment, such as lead pipes, valves, floors, and tank linings.
  • Observes tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Removes rough spots from workpiece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.
  • Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
  • Heats, forms, and dresses metal parts, using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment.
  • Ignites torch and adjusts valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.
  • Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
  • Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.
  • Determines required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician Location: Lagos
Job Description
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications
  • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
  • Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
  • Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications.
  • Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
  • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.

Job Title: Dimensional Control Engineer Location: Lagos
Job Description
  • Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Responsible for developing all testing procedures or method statements related to dimension control and distortion control on products.
  • Responsible for all required dimensional check hold points that have been developed and established by project specifications and methods.
  • Responsible for the identification and control of non-conforming drawings to requirements.
  • To prepare and maintain dimension control inspection quality plan.
  • Ensure that required reports are completed accordingly to the project specifications.
  • Carry out dimensional survey in line with the clients and approved specifications.
  • Review of Approve Construction/fabrication Drawings and specification for tolerance.
  • Dimensional checking of all fitted items prior to and after welding activities.
  • Data collation and storage in respect to dimensional quality records.
  • Preparation of relevant reports on dimensional issues.
  • Carry out dimensional and visual check of jobs and fit ups as required.
  • Relevant Codes, Specifications and procedure guiding each and every project are strictly adhered to and they also serve as reference documents, including welding.
  • In addition, contractual requirements as contained in the contract document, timely dimensional survey in line with project requirements.
  • Ensuring that dimensional checking of all fitted items after welding activities are concluded on a timely basis.
  • Collecting accurate data on dimensional inspection parameters and reproducing them in appropriate format.
  • Ensuring that the Drawings and Specification for Tolerance are being strictly adhered to.
  • Ensuring minimal dimensional quality defects on projects.
  • Reporting dimensional project activities to the factory manager on a regular basis.

Job Description
  • To see that all Filters adhere to safety rules.
  • To make sure that the workshops are cleared of off cuts and wastes
  • To make sure that disciplinary action is taken against one who defaults.
  • To make sure that jobs are properly planned out for Foremen/Charge-hand and filters daily.
  • To ensure that work schedules/targets are achieved daily.
  • To ensure that workers are well motivated.
  • To ensure that there is proper and accurate record of workers attendance/man-hour/breakdowns.
  • To ensure that disciplinary measures are strictly implemented.
