Job Title: Team Lead, Database Management and Application Support

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for writing and optimizing in-house application database ad-hoc SQL statements, stored procedures and functions.
  • Ensure performance, security and availability of databases with procedures such as database upgrade, backup & recovery, migration and maintenance plan.
  • Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases and data warehouse
  • Responsible for configuration of database engines, troubleshooting common database issues and data store partitioning when necessary.
  • Responsible for database performance tuning and optimization using industry standard tools.
  • Responsible for supporting end-users and acting as first line maintenance engineer in executing application related operational tasks.
  • Work with other developers to debug and fix major application issues.
  • Help in quality assurance and documentation of in-house built applications.
  • Responsible for change management procedures around application upgrade and patch implementations.
  • Work in conjunction with developers in building and deploying additional custom features on existing in-house built business applications.
  • Responsible for enterprise database architecture and scalability
  • Responsible for mentoring and training junior and senior database/ application support engineers

Requirements

  • A First Degree in Computer Science or any related discipline is required
  • At least 8 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in FinTech development is preferred
  • ITIL certification

Job Title: State Business Manager (SBM)

Locations: Ebonyi and Cross River
Division: Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budget for regions and products, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Develop new strategies, tactics, and plans for future growth of company’s customer database in assigned region.
  • Set and implement the vision and strategy for the state in alignment with the corporate goals.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Ensure regular collection of new disbursements – Maximum NPL of not more than 2% (Collection mode will be primarily through State Payroll but with DDM as Fallback position)
  • Build Strategic Relationships to ensure Business Continuity.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the state.
  • Optimise employee engagement & train and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a First Degree
  • At least 12 years of successful sales experience, preferably in financial services industry. Good knowledge of consumer lending is preferred with at least 5 years’ experience in a management role within the Financial services industry.
  • CIMN or any other relevant certification
  • Experience in market research
  • Knowledge of the local (Ebonyi or Cross River) market i.e. Public Sector.

Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Location: Lagos
Division: Innovations & Technology
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for system uptime and performance as it relates to server, application and software configuration.
  • Provide implementation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting activities for server hardware and operating system software; Linux / Windows server, storage and virtualization technologies.
  • Engineering solutions for scale, resiliency and maintainability.
  • Generate system metrics and reports for purposes of detecting performance bottleneck and capacity planning.
  • Designing and influencing the building of On-Prem and cloud services and integration.
  • Design, Architect and build out from the ground up and maintain MS Azure cloud platform/solution to secure data access and platform stability.
  • Configure, maintain and monitor MS SQL databases servers; ensure 99.9% uptime and performance, manage back-ups and recovery procedures.
  • Perform 7x24x365 on-call operations for server infrastructure and server related hardware and software.
  • Developing disaster recovery plans, validating infrastructure readiness for cloud migration; installing, upgrading, and relocating server-related hardware and software.

Requirements

  • A First Degree in Computer Science or any related discipline is required
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in FinTech development is preferred
  • ITIL, MSCE (Server and Cloud), CCNA - An added advantage
