Job Title: Sourcing Executive (Network Active)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Purpose

  • To monitor and manage the procurement of Network equipment and related materials and services at the right price, right quantity & quality from the most appropriate vendor at full cost of ownership to the benefit of Airtel to ensure good service delivery to its customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the processing of Network related contracts from project brief to contract completion in conjunction with the Legal department.
  • Manage the end to end Purchase Order process for procurement of goods and services within their area of responsibility in line with approved purchasing requests.
  • Manages vendor relationships in accordance with company guidelines, to support the realization of agreed procurement contracts & timelines for delivery.
  • Provide accurate information and guidance to managers and other staff in Support of the planning, budgeting and goal setting processes to establish procurement goals.
  • Manage price & contractual negotiations in line with favorable payment terms, statutory regulatory requirements, competitive pricing, quality assurance and delivery timelines favorable to the company.
  • Generation of required Procurement reports(spend & savings report, contract management report, Single source & emergency request report).
  • Manage sourcing process for recommending/identifying the most suitable vendors required for projects/tasks.
  • Provide payment support services.
  • Vendor Performance evaluation to ascertain vendor competence & capability.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years Telecoms Procurement experience.
  • Proactive attitude towards meeting objectives.

Job Title: Voice Product Executive

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

  • The position is a key role within Nigeria to ensure that Airtel’s voice subscriber growth and revenue growth outpaces the competition.
  • The Role requires deep understanding of consumer behavior, social trends, technology changes, OTT services and trends, revenue generation, project management, solution design and integration and market / consumer requirements. It incorporates a combination of these perspectives to generate business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data and market research to get insights into consumer behavior and preferences and drive future programs and promotions
  • Track usage pattern to devise growth strategies
  • Keep track of customer life-cycle and capabilities to drive ARPU growth
  • Provide customer behavioral analysis
  • Tracking the interaction between paid data and bonus data
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly product/campaign performance reports and management report
  • Provide support to projects and manage technical development of products.
  • Document and train support teams
  • Determine the relationship between usage & retention and marketing campaigns
  • Determine the factors affecting usage and inactivity trend of voice customers
  • Environmental scanning and report on the relationship between the environmental / competitive activities and usage trend

Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing position, with a focus on product data analysis.
  • Experience of Telecommunications Industry or FMCG marketing environment will be an added advantage
  • Able to operate in a performance driven organization
  • Affinity with and technical knowledge of the latest technologies and services used within the industry and affiliated industries
  • Excellent Data analysis and Excel skills

Job Title: Products and Services SME Lead

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The Products and Services SME will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all Products and Services applications, tools and utilities to support Airtel Nigeria IT Services.
  • This is an expert role with the responsibility for maintaining close collaboration with HQ-IT Products and Services Lead to ensure Airtel Nigeria delivers business results expected on Products and Services (Prepaid, Postpaid, Enterprise & VAS) domain.
  • The Products and Services SME reports to Business Systems Lead, Airtel Nigeria.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The Products and Services SME is responsible for:

  • Delivering activities in line with Products and Services domain strategy and initiatives to support IT enablement to drive sales in Airtel Nigeria
  • Leading delivery of projects of applicable domain in Airtel Nigeria that attribute to the success of Airtel Nigeria business by collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Promoting continuous improvement of processes and delivery of results within assigned domain.
  • Ensuring Business Value creation through simplifying application design, simplifying customer experience and efficient deliveries.
  • Optimizing Change requirement delivery for faster time to market and ensuring first time right efficiency.
  • Managing Timely Rollout of Projects
  • Ensuring appropriate Governance mechanisms for successful implementation of projects.
  • Delivering On-schedule, on-budget of IT solutions to facilitate commercial products delivery
  • Some travels may be required for this role since.

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

  • MSc / Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study.
  • 5 - 7 years of work experience on product and services design and delivery.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor managed service IT operating model.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering project on relevant domain.
  • Experience in redesigning and simplifying the products, services and processes.
  • The Products and Services SME must have a deep understanding of VAS products and services
  • The Products and Services SME must have a good understanding of NCC rules and guidelines in the VAS space
  • The Products and Services SME must be able to guide the design and development of VAS products and services
