Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Finance Assistant will be responsible for varying diversified accounts payable and reporting functions.
  • S/He will assist in the accurate keeping of all books of account for the project, including maintenance of the checking account, equipment and supply registers and all accounting records, support with the review of all payment requests and determine the propriety and accuracy of all expenditures.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration.
  • Strong administrative and secretarial skills.
  • Sound accounting skills.
  • Experience with large complex organization is required, familiarity with international NGOs preferred.

 

 

Job Title: Finance and Administrative Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Finance and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the provision of accounting, administrative, and logistical support services to the state Office.
  • S/He will ensure the accurate keeping of all books of account for the project, including checking account, equipment and supply registers and all accounting records, lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports with accompanying bank documentation and receipts, assist in monitoring subproject budgets in accordance with approved work plan activities.
  • S/He will also assist with the maintenance of an efficient records/storage of all office supplies while functioning as Lead for processing cash advances, retirements, petty cash management and refunds made in favor of AHNI state office.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration
  • Three (3) years working experience in related fields
  • Sound accounting administrative and secretarial skills
  • Experience with large complex organization is required, familiarity with international NGOs preferred.

Job Title: State Team Lead

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The State Team Lead will oversee implementation of the programme in the states determined by USAID. The position is contingent on the requirements of the solicitation and upon award to AHNi.
  • The position is contingent upon award to AHNI, oversee and provide regular supportive supervision on performance and review of the process of project implementation in all programme activities.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Policy and Governance, Health Economics, or other relevant field required with 5-7 years’ experience
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Governance, health Economics or other relevant field required with 7-9 years’ experience
  • At least 6 years of mid-level experience implementing, and managing or evaluating complex health programmes, with an emphasis on health systems strengthening; health financing; and/or health sector policy and strategies
  • Demonstrated technical depth and understanding of the health policy environment and governance in Nigeria or in a country of similar development context; experience in Nigeria, particularly in the Southern regions preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex international donor programmes; previous experience in managing a USAID contract strongly preferred
  • Experience building and maintaining partnerships with other development programmes, local organizations, host country governments, and international agencies
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English required.
