Job Title: Principal Subsea Hardware Engineer - Jumper Delivery Services

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • Ensure proper storage of subsea Equipment, tools, accessories per Contractors storage and maintenance procedure.
  • Review disposition Deviation/Derogation Requests, and Technical Queries that may originate from the contractor.
  • Supervise manufacturing/fabrication of rigid subsea well jumpers and associated structures, ensuring compliance with procedures, design documentation, approved Inspection and test plan (ITP) and validation through testing
  • Oversee long lead items and other materials/goods receipt, inspection, and verification checks
  • Review and provide input to Assembly and Testing Procedure, Transportation Handling Instruction, Installation and offshore Testing Procedure.
  • Promote Safety culture and drive Goal Zero compliance at the worksite.
  • Enforcing Shell and IOGP HSE policies and procedures at worksites.
  • Review documents issued by the contractor for the Scope of Work relevant to the Subsea manifold & Connection Systems.

  • Supervise activities at the Fabrication Site and confirm compliance with the approved procedure. Activities shall not be limited to Site Receipt Inspection, Factory Acceptance Test, Extended Factory Acceptance Test, System Integration Test.
  • Provide on a regular basis, a status and progress report of activities to the Lead Engineer.
  • Log and track lessons Learned during the detailed design and manufacturing activities within the Package.
  • Responsible for safe and efficient execution of work scope, and drive its timely completion, per contract and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders i.e., project, asset & operations, Wells, marine logistic, geomatic, aviation, diving, etc. team to ensure adequate support for project execution.
  • Contribute to Close-out Report relevant to the Subsea manifold and Connection Systems.
  • Oversee engineering analysis, creation of drawings, fabrication, and testing procedures (Welding, NDE, Coating) and other design outputs for construction.
  • Participate in Design reviews HAZOPS, HAZIDS
  • Review and maintain installation, operation, and maintenance manuals and guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications required

  • At least 10 years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing/fabrication and installation of subsea manifold and tie-in systems (Subsea rigid Jumpers and Connection Systems).
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering, Marine Engineering and/or Master in Subsea Engineering related discipline.
  • BOSIET / FOET and current Offshore Medical Certificate

Job Title: Diving Operations Support Superintendent

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • Developing detailed diving project plans and procedures.
  • Overall responsible for diving activities including vessel deployment preceding and during diving deployment onboard the vessel.
  • Accountable for efficiently managing all diving activities.
  • Review, comment and approve contractor-submitted procedures, dive plans and method statements and provide input when reviewing or developing new work instructions and procedures.
  • Participate in multidiscipline design and review activities.
  • Ensure that the work is carried out safely and in compliance with the scope of works, approved engineering standards, client regulations and specifications and standards.
  • Under the general supervision of the Head, Construction and/or client Representative, make the decisions on the project issues within the framework of respective contract documents and procedures/guidelines.

Job Title: Principal Subsea Construction Engineer - Engineering Services

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation and review of offshore installation or inspection documents for production SCRs, export SCRs, pipelines, flowlines, umbilical, flexible pipes, production jumpers, PLETS, PLEMS, manifolds, flying leads, and SUTAs
  • Apply advanced engineering design techniques for deep water riser systems such as top tension risers, steel catenary risers, flexible risers, umbilicals and drilling risers using our internal suite of software and tools. Review/prepare design reports, specifications, and engineering reports.
  • Support onsite fabrication, offshore installation, or acting as a CVA on international vessels and/or offshore platform. Function as the offshore client representative, inspection lead, or CVA onboard international vessels, Jones Act vessels, and offshore platforms
  • Monitor the offshore scope execution and generating and distribution of DPRs, inspection reports, or verification reports while liaising with clients, installation contractors, and marine crew to ensure proper execution and company policies are adhered

Requirements

Job Title: Commissioning Manager - Mechanical

Job Description

  • To prepare Commissioning procedure and/or OTPs related to subsea activities, and others TOPSIDE activities as required.
  • To ensure delivery of all Commissioning deliverables in due time, as per planning.
  • To keep all parties (as required) informed regarding ongoing activities status. To ensure proper communication to final internal client during all stages of the project and to monitor client satisfaction for "after sales" and REX purposes.
  • To participate & to review the Pre-commissioning & Commissioning ICAPS© population.
  • To participate to the Commissioning planning preparation, and review/analyze the planning received from Projects CTRs.

Job Title: Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer - Engineering Services

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • Drive the implementation of mechanical rotating equipment requirements in the design, fabrication, testing, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of assigned project. Ensure the final products delivered meets the applicable code requirements as well as the project scope of work and specifications.
  • Review of construction drawings for all items across the rotating equipment packages for installation and construction activities, including providing support for development of work packages.
  • Deliver mechanical rotating equipment engineering activities and deliverables for assigned projects and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards.
  • Work in a multi-discipline project team providing all necessary support towards ensuring quality work delivery on schedule.

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Ensure material flow, material layouts, internal Route designs and manpower allocations are optimized and support lean strategy
  • Act as single point of contact for MP&L including coordinating department study responses to studies and department reviews
  • Interface with Plant Industrial and Process engineering to ensure accurate part usage/allocations, and analyze discrepancies

  • Act as single point of contact for MP&L including coordinating department study responses to studies and department reviews

  • Coordinate logistics at the Local Fabrication Site for timely packaging and transportation of equipment to the quayside and safely load-out to installation/Transportation vessel.
  • Liaise with Company's Lifting and Hoisting SME (Subject Matter Expert) to review lift plans, rigging registers, and support safe lifting operations.
  • Supervise offshore installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of the subsea control and distribution hardware.
  • Liaise with Project Engineers responsible for delivery of other packages within the project (e.g., Umbilical systems, Flow control systems, well control systems, flowlines, etc.) to successfully manage interfaces and drive compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate meetings and design reviews with contractor engineers and technicians and report outcomes.
  • Review operation and maintenance manuals and guidelines issued by the contractor.
  • The service will involve work and travel to fabrication sites, OEM facilities, and offshore vessels in the Gulf of Guinea.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Subsea Engineering, with professional registration.
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience with at least 10 years relevant experience in design, fabrication, and installation of Deepwater subsea hardware systems. Specific experience in design, fabrication, and installation of Subsea distribution hardware will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding and application of Industry standards and codes (API17F / ISO 13628-6, API 17H, API 17TR4, API 17TR5, API 17TR6, IEC 60287, ASME B31.3, ASME IX, ASME B31.8, ISO 15607).
  • Practical experience in working with subsea hardware/distribution systems OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Job Description

  • Participate in multi-disciplinary Detailed Engineering Design for the project, focusing on riser systems and related appurtenances.
  • Review and provide input to technical specification documents, analysis reports, drawings, and other detailed engineering documents for the pipeline and riser system and other interfacing systems.
  • Ensure technical assurance of riser-related deliverables during the Detail Design phase, including all interfaces with other disciplines.
  • Manage technical queries during design, procurement, fabrication, and installation phases, including any applicable qualification and testing.
  • Conduct intra and multi-discipline technical reviews, including HAZIDs, HAZOPs, Constructability reviews, Human Factor Engineering Reviews, and Reliability and Availability and Maintainability Studies.

Job Title: Principal Controls Engineer - Engineering Services

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Subsea Controls scope for a large and complex deepwater project in accordance with company policies and standards.
  • Lead the project subsea controls engineering activities during tendering, detail design, fabrication, testing, installation, and support offshore commissioning.
  • Address subsea controls related queries and technical clarification questions from vendors, develop technical evaluation criteria and deliver the technical evaluation of the subsea control system.
  • Ensure that all deliverables, as defined in the project controls and assurance plan are completed successfully.
  • Drive the identification, maturation and deployment of value adding new technologies and innovations to optimise the subsea controls scope.
  • Deliver an integrated (MCS/DCS) subsea control system for the project, working collaboratively with all interfacing teams and Contractors.
  • Develop/review schedules as required for own discipline activities and determine the deliverables and hold points necessary to meet the project requirements.
