Job Title: Head of Partnerships
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for planning, driving implementation, and continuity plans for new business initiatives and transformational / strategic projects and partnerships for the company.
- This includes but is not limited to creating and launching new programmes, leading negotiations for strategic partnerships, and rollout of new internal policies and structures.
In particular, you will:
- Identify strategies and initiatives to introduce the Jumia Group (wholly or a subsidiary) to key players in select partner segment in Nigeria
- Establish and maintain cordial and working relationship between partner segment and the Jumia Group
- Engage on a regular level with partners on issues, activations, events and co-marketing opportunities.
- Be the most knowledgeable person at Jumia on select partner segment – understand business, process, needs, selling points and the people.
- Prepare regular reporting and weekly tracker on initiatives and progress
- Coordinate and manage execution utilizing relationships among stakeholders internally within Jumia Group
- Responsible for ensuring Jumia Group is represented at major events and activities within the country
- Make Jumia part of partners’ core strategy
- Sign up new partners to sell/advertise/co-market with Jumia
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience managing corporate strategic partnerships; with at least 3+ years leading a team.
- Proven experience of developing and maximizing new business opportunities
- Proven experience in negotiating lucrative commercial partnerships
- Ability to envision, design, and execute mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
- Expert communication skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Relationship management experience and results-oriented team player with interpersonal skills.

Job Title: Head of Vendor Acquisition
Location: Lagos

Job Description
- The Head of Vendor Acquisition will lead Jumia Vendor Acquisition Strategy, which at a high level includes Vendor Acquisition, Vendor Retention, Vendor Development, Vendor Experience and Vendor Education
- You will be responsible for driving growth and revenue from Vendors across product lines
- In addition to organic growth, this position will develop relationships with channel partners to meet Vendor acquisition targets as required.
In particular, you will:
- Directly interact with key new sellers to build relationship and ensure strong performance with Jumia
- Ensure overall sales target are met through planning, forecasting, marketing and collaboration with internal teams
- Recommend processes and performance measures to improve and motivate team in line with the company objectives
- Acquire and incubate key target sellers, in line with our long-term strategic plan
- Implement campaigns and initiatives for new sellers to boost their performance
- Devise a plan to acquire vendors and products to fuel an aggressive growth
- Break down regional targets into individual targets for each team member and ensure targets are achieved
- Devise and implement online and offline strategies to source leads
- Liaises with category team to drive and growth individual categories (e.g. Electronics, Health & Beauty, Fashion)
- Manage a team of acquisition agents and optimize their performance
Professional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in related courses which include; Business Administration/Management, Sales, Marketing, Economics.
- Good relationship with top distributors in Major markets across different product categories would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years of Vendor Management/Acquisitions and/or Business Development & Account Management experience is required
- Previous experience in fast-paced high-pressure sales environment with short closing cycles
- E-commerce experience is a plus
