  • As the Lead Specialist Governance, you will partner with the businesses team to build and execute streamlined processes and procedures that bring value aligned with the indirect sourcing goals and initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Work with Global Functional Lead to ensure there is proper governance on all processes
  • Interface between both business sourcing teams as well as technical teams effectively
  • Evaluate business requests and provide recommendations on approval to implement the change on S2P Platforms
  • Work with the IT team to ensure solution design is configurable to minimize future maintenance effort
  • Support business requests, issues raised to ensure they are addressed satisfactorily
  • Work with the support teams to ensure the platform is operating in an efficient and compliant manor
  • Work closely with the Development teams to provide business requirements, discuss solutions, identify the best possible approach
  • Interface with GE businesses to discuss enhancements and programs being implemented on the S2P platforms
  • Lead global projects spanning multiple businesses and countries to ensure a standard solution that meets all requirements delivered on schedule and within budget
  • Minimize business specific customizations on platforms, and strive to achieve global configurable solutions wherever possible
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and/or payables
  • Working knowledge of Source to Pay lifecycle
Desired Characteristics:
  • Oracle R12 Sourcing, Procurement, Payables, Cash Management, iSupplier module experience
