Cedarcrest Hospitals is a modern private Multispecialty Hospital located in the heart of Abuja, Nigeria. It was founded January 2008 with the aim of providing a high standard of healthcare to patients within and outside Nigeria.   • The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The HR Manager will liaise regularly with the divisional Directors on related project and corporate HR matters.
Responsibilities Your responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Providing advice on principles and detail of employment legislation and good practice
  • Management of effective employee relations including processes of job evaluation, salary administration and reward management.
  • Recruitment & retention of staff
  • Maintenance of the attendance management process
  • Handling formal grievance and disciplinary process and appeals
  • Coordinating training and development programmes
Qualifications/requirements
  • Excellent communication ability in English Language.
  • Basic computer literacy/usability of day-to-day data entry, analyses and processing tools such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn and deliver staff training sessions (and experience in doing so).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field;
  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible HR experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent record keeping and documentation skills;
  • Relevant professional certifications in Human Resource and/or Administration.
  • Proficiency in using HR Management Software.
