Job Title: Investment Analyst
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products
- Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios
- Develop complex financial models and analyse legal documents.
- Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
- Look back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making the investment decision
- Liaise with fund managers and network with industry professionals
Job Title: Private Equity Specialist
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Monitoring activities include participating in limited partner advisory committees, attending annual meetings, and updating the team’s CRM.
- Initiates and maintains contact with general partners, placement agents, portfolio companies, and other investors to insure a continuous flow of appropriate investment opportunities.
- May assist in ongoing coverage of public equity industries as assigned with responsibility for recommending purchase, sale, and position sizes of holdings.
- May assist in selection and evaluation of outside mutual funds for insurance and client portfolios.
- Executes purchase and sale transactions of investments for insurance and client portfolios to facilitate block trades.
- Conducts all portfolio management, research, trading, investment strategy, and risk management functions.
- Investment approach for Equity investments emphasizes fundamental analysis of individual companies (e.g., focusing on financial performance, competitive positioning, quality of management, etc.), market sectors, and market trends. This approach may involve the use of quantitative screening tools.
- Acts as a member of the Private Equity team on sourcing, diligence, and monitoring of private equity commitments.
- Sourcing activities include attending conferences, reading industry publications, and maintaining relationships with intermediaries and other investors.
- Diligence activities include analyzing provided data, reference calling, and participation in negotiation of legal terms.
Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Conduct hiring and onboarding of new employees
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Track and manage inventory at store.
- Manage daily operations of business and ensure sales goals are met
- Direct employees in daily operations such as serving customers, inventory taking, reconciling cash and managing in store marketing
- Assigns duties to relevant employees
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of retail and retail management experience Demonstrated ability to train employees and be an effective salesperson
- Strong customer service, management and communication skills.
Requirements:
- They should be a confident salesperson and be able to share their best practices in order to onboard new employees
- This candidate should also possess strong leadership skills and be able to assign duties to relevant employees in order to maintain the function of the store.
