We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Investment Professional

Location: Lagos
Department: Investment

Key Responsibilities

  • Track deal pipeline and conduct market research and outreach to facilitate origination efforts
  • Screen potential investment opportunities through extensive financial, operational and market analysis as well as financial modelling, to provide recommendations on opportunities to consider further
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics of partner companies and provide support to management teams to execute on value creation plans
  • Support with reporting to and engagement with Fund investors
  • Assist in preparation and presentation of deal memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee
  • Provide support on and/or run parts of the transaction process (due diligence, negotiations, deal structuring, exits, etc)

Key Requirements

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a PE, M&A, Investment Banking or Consulting role spent conducting financial and operational analysis and engaging with senior management teams
  • A mature, responsible and resourceful individual with sound judgement and the ability to take initiative and problem-solve
  • Advanced level modelling and financial analysis skills, including knowledge of operating models, detailed financial projections and various types of valuation and returns analysis
  • Good time management skills are a must for this role
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at partner companies when required
  • High level oral and written communications skills and proven attention to detail
  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite especially Excel and Power Point
