Job Title: Inventory Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We seek an experienced Inventory Officer to manage our inventory operations, ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock management, and provide financial insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records (physical counts, cycle counts, and perpetual inventory)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports (inventory valuation, stock depreciation, etc.)
  • Develop and implement inventory management procedures and process improvements
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations
  • Analyze inventory trends, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to optimize inventory levels

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficient in inventory management software (ERP systems)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management and accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS)

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.

Salary
N300,000 Monthly.
