TAF Africa is an independent non-governmental/not-for profit organization originally established to promote health, socio-economic rights, well-being, and empowerment of persons with albinism. The organization has since evolved to become a focus organization that advocates for the recognition and respect of the rights, socio-economic and political inclusion of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups in Nigeria and the around the World. The foundation contributes to legislative and policy action that promotes the rights of PWDs, and effective mainstreaming of inclusion.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Audit Manager

Location: Central Business District, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Performs and controls the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable regulations and laws
• Identify gaps and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
• Maintain open communication with the Board, CEO and management team
• Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
• Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
• Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, etc.
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity and legality

Jobholder Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience)

• Candidates should possess Master's Degrees in Accounting, Finance, Management or any related discipline.
• Sound independent judgement
• Excellent oral and written communication skill
• Strong leadership, decision-making and strategy management abilities.
• Proven work experience as an Auditor for a minimum of 5 years.
• Strong ICT skills
• Attention to details and excellent analytical skills

Salary
N450,000 Monthly.
