Job Title: Interior Designer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday work week 7:15 am to 6:00 pm.

Job Description

  • We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming indoor spaces into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe environments.
  • You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into stunning designs that meet their budget and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to define their design goals, understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop creative and functional design plans, including space planning, furniture layouts, and material selection.
  • Conduct site visits to assess spaces and identify potential challenges.
  • Prepare construction drawings and specifications for contractors.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Source furniture, fixtures, and finishes that meet project requirements and budget.
  • Oversee the installation of design elements and ensure they adhere to the plan.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
  • Stay up-to-date on current design trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any field, but with a strong understanding of interior design principles.
  • 2-3 years of experience in interior design with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficient in budgeting, time management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for interior design.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent planning abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in design software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Space planning and spatial awareness.
  • Excellent drawing and sketching abilities (hand-drawn or digital).

Salary
N200,000 / Month
