We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Instrumentation Technician

Location: Agbara / Igbesa - Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties

  • Uses gauges and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions and mechanic hand and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components
  • Manage and maintain instrument calibration documentation and CMMS database
  • Maintain computers and software packages relevant to the design, modification, installation and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of instrument application, operation and of the electrical and mechanical principles involved in repair, testing and calibration
  • Maintenance and calibration of process instrumentation devices, electrical power distribution and monitoring devices, VFD drives and motor control
  • Must be familiar with VFD structure and be able to determine causes of failure and be able to repair (prefer AB experience)
  • Installs, services, and repairs process equipment components (valves, pumps, piping systems, actuators, filtration systems, pressure relief devices,) consistent with chemical industry
  • Installing, calibrating, maintaining, or repairing equipment such as pressure gauges, thermometers, or barometers.
  • Performs preventive and predictive maintenance including calibration, using data collectors, testing and diagnostic tools, and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Investigate equipment failures, determine root cause of failure
  • Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns
  • Assist in the development and ongoing improvement of the plant mechanical integrity program

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree with 5 - 7 years relevant work experience.
