  • Operate filing system to ensure that all paperwork is properly maintained. Maintain Prodom Database for correspondence.
  • Document production, archiving and control (e.g. assigns codes/numbers to documents).
  • Generate standard reports from systems.
  • Provide first point of contact internally and for outside callers to the Package team.
  • Type and write up paper work associated with supporting manager or others professionals.
  • Requisition standard goods/stationery for the Package team.
  • Ensure good coordination and communication with Package and other concerned personnel.
  • Prepare mission order and assist Package personnel in travel logistics.
  • Participate to the welcome and integration of newcomers on the Package.
  • Keep updated the POB in the Package.
  • Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by hierarchy.

  • To assist the Project Controls Leader in the organization and control of Risk and Planning Management on the Project.
  • To perform, supervise, co-ordinate and control all necessary Project Risk activities and to ensure that they are performed in accordance with the COMPANY Rules and Procedures using best work practices.
  • To define, propose & implement risk mitigation measures supporting the respect of project objectives.
  • To anticipate any potential drift in both schedule and cost risk and propose correctives measures.
  • To be responsible for all scheduling related to the Brownfield package including the Company Integrated Schedule as well as monitoring and ensuring consistent quality of CONTRACTOR schedules. Will prepare and issue for review progress and status reports for the package (weekly, monthly, etc)
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with Partners and Nigerian Authorities representatives in his team (NNPC, NAPIMS, DPR, …)
  • Liaise with the Project QA/QC team to capture lessons learnt, risks and opportunities from other Projects.
  • Carry-out quantitative risk analyses (schedule and risk) as and when required and at least once per quarter.
  • Ensure that contractors and suppliers implement and operate appropriate risk management systems.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience including at least 5 years in a similar position with experience in planning. Contracts and cost control a plus.
  • Excellent demonstrable knowledge of Primavera Risk Analysis and @Risk software.

  • To supervise and control all necessary project services activities on the CC and SURF packages.
  • To ensure that service activities are performed in compliance with company rules and DGEP/DSO/IP/PJC guidelines and procedures, using best work practices.
  • To consolidate, control and coordinate all planning and progress measurement activities related to the CC and SURF packages.
  • To ensure that all CC and SURF activities are correctly planned and performed throughout the whole duration of the project in accordance with the initial/contractual plan.
  • To maintain the CC and SURF packages schedule and be accountable for identifying any areas of concern (critical path, clashes, early start, interfaces, etc.).
  • To ensure availability of updated and accurate package scheduling, planning and progress reporting input, particularly for the topsides works and integration phase.
  • Documentation & Reporting: To elaborate the specifications to be used by all contractors in order to transfer the final technical project documentation to Operations at project close-out; to implement, in collaboration with DCC Leader, the PRODOM data base, recommended by PJC; to prepare and issue monthly project reports, PJC half-year reports and PJC quarterly reports, ensuring appropriate content and quality of information.
  • Scheduling: To elaborate the package Schedule/ planning and consolidate the overall progress through identification/follow-up of the critical path and analysis of main deviations incurred during the execution of the project; to review identified deviations and propose accurate measures or adapted corrections.
  • Monitoring at all stages of the project development the Nigerian content plan / requirements are well followed. Will be accountable for duly reporting of Nigerian content for the CC and SURF packages.
Requirements
  • The candidate will be graduated with an MSc in Engineering or Law; certified copy of diploma with grade shall be provided; ideally the candidate will be also a chartered Engineer (such as C.Eng MICE); his education will have been complemented by professional trainings during his past professional experience.
  • Pending professional experience candidate with a Bachelors Degree (BSc.) in Engineering will be also given consideration for the position.
  • The candidate will have minimum 10 years experience in the industry (although preferably with practice of Oil & Gas industry for offshore works) as contract/planning engineer with responsibilities including small team management; will also have knowledge of TOTAL and international contracting principles, practice codes / standards. Excellent English verbal and in written skills are requested.

  • To coordinate the CTR and CPY teams in the development and timely approval of the detailed installation, subsea works/diving and sealines engineering ensuring adherence to CPY SPECIFICATIONS and offshore rules. To support the supervisory team in the execution of the worksites activities fabrication of spools, spreader bars and pipeline coating works etc.
  • To coordinate the offshore mobilization process assuring that required Risk assessments, inspections/ certification (OVID, MWS, pre-mob etc), permits (entry permits etc), are performed in due time
  • To assist the offshore supervision team, in order to achieve a proper control of all the contractor’s activities, including:
    • Welding /NDT qualification and naval operation activities.
    • Platforms approach, deck installation, transition piece adjustment, leveling etc
    • Pipe laying, crossings works, free span reduction, pipeline pre-commissioning,
    • To ensure that project naval spread requirements, contractor naval operations procedures, and HSE requirements related to lay barge and transportation barge operations are complied with. To assess the seriousness and urgency of any problems encountered by or with the contractor, and, when necessary, to obtain an acceptable remedial actions plan from the contractor.
  • To assess the relevancy of offshore campaign-related CORs issued by the contractor, and prepare supporting data for the internal COR review meetings.
  • To pay specific attention to contractor management of provisional sums and volatile items, ensuring value for company in all cases, validating equipment, personnel presence that are in the overall interest of project/company.
  • To prepare and participate in weekly, monthly and ad-hoc meetings with the contractor.
Requirements
  • Experience with cable laying, diving works, pipelaying, surveys.
  • Experience in offshore structure installation
  • Ability to work in autonomy at CTR site is needed.
