GOS Projects Limited - Our client, a Microfinance Bank based in Ikeja, Lagos, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:   Job Title: Human Resources Officer Location: Lagos Job Descriptions

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives, providing counselling on policies and procedures, hiring, recruiting, training and developing staff.
  • S/He will be monitoring staff performance and attendance, advising line managers and other employees on employment law, negotiating salaries, contracts and working conditions or redundancy packages with staff and representatives.
  • S/he will also cover all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirements, including reviewing procedures for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health and overseeing social events.
Job Requirements
  • To fit in this role, you must have a B.Sc in Human Resources or Management Information System, or Business or any other related field, with a minimum of 3-4 years experience preferably in a State or National licensed MFB.
  • In addition, you must possess excellent communication skills, leadership and organization skills, have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently/
  • Must have a good working knowledge of HRIS and demonstrated skill in database management and record keeping,
  • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices, a certification on CIPM,CIPD will give you additional advantage.
